NBR: Blender recommendations?

I'm in the market for a new blender. I don't want to spend anymore than about $50, and am kicking myself for not buying a Ninja while they were so cheap before Christmas. The last blender I had was a piece of junk. Anybody have any suggestions on a good blender?

Just bought a Kitchen Aid Mixer on www.6pm.com (It's an amazon company) it's normally $160 and I think I got it for $66. It's not $50, but it's close and it's amazing!
