(Mod note: LC warning)

Hello everyone! I'll start by saying my name is Amber. I am 27 and I experienced my first loss on October 27, 2014 resulting in a d&c. I took a hiatus from these groups all together. I'm back now and still trying... but that's hard to do with no period. I've been experiencing pain in my left ovary area for 2 days now and I experienced a lot of clear vaginal discharge today. Anyone else experience this

Re: introduction

  • Hi Amber. Welcome. I'm sorry for your loss.

Will you please add a living child warning to your thread title? I'm a little confused by your question. Have you been cleared to ttc yet? Most doctors advise people to wait at least one cycle post loss to start trying again. Unfortunately, AF arrives at different times for every one. I'm pretty sure on the blog (there's a link in the sticky at the top of the board) has a poll on how long many of us waited. Good luck and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

  • I'm sorry for your loss, welcome to the board.

You had your loss this past October and haven't had a period yet? (I ask since it a new year, some that say last year may mean 2013)

If it was the past Oct, I echo what eliida asked regarding being cleared to TTC from the Dr?

Also, if it's been 60 days with no period, you may want to go to your OB.

    Good luck!
I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

  • Thanks ladies... I edited my post... it was October 2014. I haven't experienced a period yet. I will be calling his office come Monday for help. Also I have been cleared to ttc again...
  • Also this is my first loss so I have no idea what to expect... as far as my body goes...
  • I am sorry for your loss.  Welcome.

Everybody's body acts a bit differently post-loss.  It can take a while to get back to "normal" and some end up having a new "normal."  That being said, I agree with PPs that you need to call and check with your doctor since it has been more than 60 days and you haven't gotten your period.
