Sit and Stand

DS will be almost 5 when number two arrives. He's big for his age- already over 50lbs. According to amazon, that's the limit for the sit and stand.
He never uses a stroller anymore but does often want to be carried if he has to walk more than 2 minutes. So when I have two, I thought a stroller with somewhere for him would be awesome.
If you have the sit and stand, do you think it would be okay for an infant and a 55+lb child? Is there another option I've missed? I guess I could bring our wagon everywhere...

    I wouldn't recommend the sit n stand for a larger child. My very skinny 2.5 yo is too big for the front seat and the back seat isn't exactly plush. What about the skateboard thingee that attaches to a regular single stroller? I would think a 5 yo boy would find that awesome.

    I wouldn't rec a sit in stand in general. The moms in my mom group who have one often are chasing the stander around while pushing the double stroller. They are total fails in parks. You can't do paved trails well or different terrains.

    I have a 3 year old. If we're on a long trip we take the double, if it's short I use the single for his little brother & he walks. There is no way he'd stay on a sit n stand.
