TTC # 1 Since Feb 2013,
seeing an RE since Feb 2014 with 1 loss

3. What are you doing this cycle?

IVF injections Gonal F and Lupron 2x/day, Exercise, pre-natals, Vitamin D, Ubiquinol, acupuncture, organic pomegranate juice and eating healthy. Eliminated caffeine, alcohol, herbal teas, and as nitrate free as possible

4. Where are you in your cycle?
CD11, I haven retrieval set for 1//3 (Saturday!)

5. How do you feel about this cycle?
So far I seem to be responding to the MicroFlare protocol. So over this IVF crap! I'm excited for it to be over

QOTW:
In New England it's tradition to eat Chinese food. I have no idea why or when it started, but the good places will be on a 4+ hour wait. We will put our name in for take out several days prior to get a dinner pick up time.

I'm determined to make this cycle one where if we don't get KU, it's not for lack of trying!! My FW is right now through the weekend, probably, so I'm jumping DH as much as possible ha!

@CML11‌ I didn't know the Chinese food thing was a NE tradition! I moved here about 5 years ago and just thought my friends who usually host got it bc it was easy...but now I've learned that everyone does it! We are putting in our order now!

Usually my friends have a little NYE party but they are out if town this year, so it will just be DH and I on the couch with the puppies this year (which sounds heavenly)!

I am temping/charting to get back into the swing of things.

Funny side note, the dog has learned that the beep from my thermometer means I'm awake so now every morning as soon as it beeps she jumps up to snuggle with me.

CD 13, so waiting to O. I am benched though and am not even released for general "sexual activity" poet-surgery until this weekend so there will be no 2WW for a couple of months.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I have egg white mucus in abundance (yep, you wanted to know that didn't you) which is kind of a piss off because I haven't had it like this since June.

QOTW: Do you have any NYE traditions?

Drinking bubbly of some sort at midnight is about it. I got a bunch of snacky foods (making spinach dip, put together an antipasto plate, making wings, and chocolate chip orange cookies) so we can pig out. It's just H and I tonight.

We are trying naturally this cycle due to the holidays. Decided to focus on family and holiday activities this time. We have a consult with a new RE at a better clinic next tuesday.

CD 97, possibly (though doubtedly 8DPO) BFN this morning so DH wouldn't be concerned about me drinking tonight so nope, no symptoms. Happily on Day 8 of negative OPKs and temps leveling out so thinking I am really waiting to O not past O... but hard to tell since hormones were out of whack and temps were all over the place so no idea what coverline would have been.
5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

Hopeful to get things on track again. Seeing an RE on the 15th.. looking forward to that, but a little anxious to.

Normally the whole Family hangs out at my In-Laws house and we play games and have fun and there is plenty of drinking. We all spend the night there and then spend New Years Day recovering, napping, watching movies and snacking on all kinds of yummy stuff my MIL prepares.....this year is the first year its not happening. We will probably go to friends house for a bit but get home before midnight and keep it low key.

5. The whole house just got a cold so I feel very negative right now.

5. We have this tradition of writing down in a journal what we think will happen in the new year and then we go back and see how many we get right. We usually only write things we are pretty sure are going to happen. Amazingly we always get more wrong than right.

Waiting for AF to take a hike. Today is CD5 so I'll start opks again soon.

No strong feelings one way or another. After what was mostly likely a chemical pregnancy last cycle, I'm a little disappointed and kind of nervous that it won't actually happen for us.

Heh, we used to go to home to Hawaii, go out to dinner with my parents and my aunty and uncle, and then go to my friends house to play fireworks. But these last two years, our new tradition is pass out somewhere around 10 and sleep right on through midnight. hahahaha. We're lame now.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you and good luck for the new year. I have high hopes for all of us this year.

@CML11, I had never realized Chinese food was such a big NYE thing on the mainland until last night. We actually picked up Chinese food because it sounded good and that was the most crowded I've EVER seen our local Chinese food joint. Usually there's 1-2 people in there when we go get our food. Last night the entire place (it's not very big) was packed with like 20 people waiting to order.

3. We are in the care of an RE and doing our first IUI this month.

4. Finished 5 days of Letrozole and monitored yesterday (day 8-- RE office closed for NYD and last month I o'ed early so they brought me in early this time). Had two 14mm follies (still trying to figure out what all of this means). Going back tomorrow for more monitoring and hopefully, they will trigger me and IUI happens on Saturday.

5. I am happy that we are finally able to get an IUI in and we are slightly more educated on the timing of things. Keeping my fingers crossed.

QOTW: Usually we go out for NYE but decided to stay at home this year. One of my single friends came over and hung out with us. Fun night.

I'm eternally hopeful. I feel like 2015 is our year!! I just can't imagine we're not going to get pregnant soon. I'm feeling good about moving on to IUI because my hubby was having some issues with the prescribed sex. I feel so bad for him, but his frustration wasn't helping my attitude either. With my diagnosis and no known MFI, IUI will only increase our odds a few percentage points, but I think it's helped to take the pressure off my hubby, so I'm all for it.

We usually order food from a restaurant (Indian last night) - since our daughter was born, at least (used to go out) so it's a little special but we don't usually make it to midnight.

have no clue where I am in cycle... it's kind of funny, don't know if I've O'd or not due to NTNP this current cycle and still not sure what we will do next, no plans for RE intervention (due to finances not desire)

We had Chinese takeout on the 31st too.

They don't have roulette at the casino in Tampa. We have a little system that works pretty good with slots. SO loves Black Jack. I enjoy it as well. I do real well with Baccarat. I get a real good vibe on the cards and my percentage to win is very high.

UPDATE on IUI #1: It's done! It went really well. We had four potential follicles on last ultrasound which my RE NP was happy about - since I'm 40, she was completely comfortable with this, as was I. My hubby's numbers were AWESOME this morning, even after doing it the old-fashioned way on Wednesday night (which also went well, unlike our recent attempts at baby making sex). I'm cramping like crazy, so I'm assuming I'm ovulating. My birthday is Dec 15th so I tend to use the numbers 1215 for a lot of things - my email address has this number set, other usernames, etc. Today is 1-2-15, which I realized this morning - also made me feel good (silly, but whatever). And my acupuncturist came in on her day off to give me a little implantation boost/anxiety decrease after my IUI - every little bit helps.

All in all, I'm just feeling really positive today!! Now, the darn two week wait....

I had my follow up today, 4 follicles over 11 (3 on the right, 1 on the left--it's should be the right ovary's turn this month) gonal-f injections this weekend (and acupuncture) and back in for u/s labs Monday morning! I'm hoping to hang onto the 3 on the right, my RE doesn't like to do IUI with more than 3 follicles (although I'd be totally ok with 4!)

CD47, not sure I even ovulated, I had 5 days straight of just spotting last weekend.

This is OUR 3rd and they've all been extremely different.

1st was 3 parties and got home around 4am. Last year we went to Times Square in NYC and this year we stayed home and got Chinese take out and watched the ball drop on TV with our furry boys. Maybe someday we'll have a tradition. HAHA.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes! I triggered yesterday morning and the IUI was done this morning. DHs sample was great at 51 million. I had two mature follies, estrogen level of 491 and what the nurse described as a "really good lining". She was very optimistic about everything.

It didn't hurt any more than a routine Pap smear and took only a couple minutes. Now I am just taking it easy for a couple days (had to cancel my HIIT class for tomorrow) which is not horrible since it is snowing here today.

Let the TWW commence!

3. Temping, reduced caffeine, acupuncture sometimes, hopefully OPKs (Forgot to order more Wondfos while traveling. I'll have to see what they have at Walgreens this weekend.)

4. WTO. I expect to O on Thursday.

5. I feel hopeful; although, I'm kind of irritated that my FW wasn't during the holiday break. I think that DH is going to get hit hard with work and late nights this coming week.

QOTW: We don't have any NYE traditions. This year DH and I took a quick trip (without the toddler) to Austin, TX. Drinking didn't really appeal to us that night, so we had a sushi dinner and watched the midnight fireworks from our hotel room.
