Rug or foam mat suggestions
I'm looking for a rug or foam mat to put in DS' room. He is 2, and eventually he and his little brother (about 2 weeks from being born) will probably share a room and use the same rug or mat.
DH wants to get one of those ABC foam ones, but I think they're tacky and a PITA because kids are always taking them apart and losing or biting off chunks of the letters. I know, I'm not a fun mom. Maybe if I could find a nice looking one, that would be ok, but I don't know if it would hold up for 2+ years. I was also thinking about something like the second pic - a little more gym-like. But this one would be $225 for the size we would want, so not really in budget.
Our budget is about $100, and I'd like something 6x8 or 8x10. The first pic is a stock photo of the bedding, which I don't care if it matches exactly, but I don't want it to look awful. I'd love your ideas!

Target has play area rugs for $20. It is a road and DS pretends to drive his cars and trains. Bonus that it fits in the washing machine.
