Dressing the bump- Romper

Hey ladies. I'm going away on my babymoon around 19-20 weeks. I figure by then I'll have a bump and I was wondering if any of you girls have considered wearing a loose romper ? Any experience ?

  • I personally hate rompers (and it's just more fabric to remove when I need to pee!), but to each their own!

  • I think there are cuter ways to show of your bump! Rompers generally only look good on very petite/skinny women IMO. And even then the fashionability is questionable ;)

  • I got one from motherhood $15 clearance.. I m planning to take it on my babymoon:. I personally think it's perfect for a beach getaway
    I will take a pic for u later ;)
  • I love rompers! Make sure you get one with no elastic at the waist, I have a few and I've tried to wear them but the elastic across my belly makes me feel sick!
  • I love rompers!! I'm short and sometimes it's hard to find some that are the right length, but I love it when I do!
  • Channel your inner Kourtney Kardashian. image
Nope nope nope. Don't understand how this is considered fashion.

  • I love a good romper as well. I can't pull all of them off since I have somewhat wider hips, but when I find one that works - it works!

  • Love love rompers. I have a larger butt so it's not easy too find one that doesn't ride up but I have many and wear them in the summer often. Fashion is subjective, there are a lot of pieces I hate but to each her own :)

  • I think there is a very, very, very small percentage of the population with the body type to pull them off. If you happen to be in that .01%, rock it. They can be really cute.

  • @kiki119 They are definitely not appropriate for my body type, but you look super cute in yours! That's one of the cuter rompers I've seen. Sometimes people just look like giant toddlers in them.

  • I have one romper that I love! But like some other PP - my butt is usually too big... Also, with as often as I have to pee these days, no way am I wearing something that will have be practically naked to sit on the toilet!
  • Thanks for all the responses girls. I have a bubble butt and I've been able to wear certain rompers during the summertime. I'm obsessed with Spell and the Gypsy collective rompers. If you have a bohemian style and are willing to spend a little more they are so gorgeous.

  • Topshop maternity has adorable jumpers and they fit well, but go a size up, European cuts are smaller than American ;)
