Who watches your kid?

Now that maternity leave is up for some of us I want to know who watches your kid.

(if you are still on maternity leave but going back to work (sigh) then select who will watch you little one once you go back)

FI's mom watches DS 4 days a week, then FI has him on his weekday off. And I get Saturdays since FI and I have Sunday off.

I chose SS. We paid my sister to fly to CO to live with us to be our nanny. It's great because the kids love her and she always has fun activities. It's not so awesome in that she can't turn nanny-mode off when I'm home and does my job, like bargaining to get him to eat more veggies or disciplining him for being loud.

Ss. My mil has an in home daycare and she will be watching DS 4 days a week. (I only work 4days/week)

He will go to the baby room at a small daycare here in town when I go back to work in March. It's not an in-home but it's not a franchise type of daycare either.

DS1 is in his new preschool already so we will have to deal with double drop offs and pick ups.

MIL will watch DD for 3 days a week and we will be hiring a nanny for the other 2 days a week.

My mom will watch him for 3 months, then he'll be at the same center as DD. Thus I voted SS.

So blessed to have my mom watching LO when I go back to work next week. My schedule is so irregular (I'm in retail management) that DC would not be an option.
