Resale value of GMD

I have been using GMD orange edge prefolds for my newborn. They quickly became my favorite diaper, but I can see why some people skip cloth for newborns because my boy is growing so quick!

I was looking to get some yellow edge. I joined a B/S/T group on Facebook to try to get some used. The diapers go so quick but seem to be really overpriced. On greenmountaindiapers.com, I can get diapers new for less or the same as some people are selling them for used. Anyone know why people buy them up so quick used and don't just get them new when it's about the same price? Trying to figure out what I'm missing!

    I would never pay more than retail for used, but GMD are great quality and hold up well, so for gently used prefolds they are worth close to the cost of new. The pre-prepped aspect is nice too, but to me it wouldn't make them worth more than brand new ones. And shipping costs would be the same either way, new or used - well you might get a better deal on shipping from GMD, not sure about that though.

    Some people prefer buying used because it leaves less of an environmental footprint.

    Lucky you. I'm trying to sCell my newborn prefolds and workhorses and it's hard. I . keep getting I could buy them new for $5. well with taxes/exchange/duty they cost me close to $7 so I thought $5 was fair. I'm in canada. 
    Audrey is going to be a big sister!

    You may want to try putting them up on the swap thread on Monday, or just listing them with "Canada" somewhere in the thread so ladies know that you're in Canada.
    There's bound to be some other Canadian ladies that would be interested in them.

    I was going to mention, I bought used GMD newborn prefolds from someo e local that were great. I can't really buy new since I'm in Canada and the shipping and duty make them ridiculously expensive. But shipping prefolds across the country would be expensive because the weight.
