CPTh: NYE Midnight Traditions

I know I'm a day late on this, but do you do anything to "ring in the new year"? We grew up banging pots and pans on the front step (Philly) and making lots of racket to scare off the old year. When I moved to the South, I found out that others thought this was very very strange. What do you do at midnight of NYE\New Years Day?

Champagne (or other alcohol) and a kiss. We usually have on one of the NYE shows. I know a lot of people don't like them, but we love watching Anderson and Kathy on CNN.

Our whole neighborhood did @mrshudson618 - there was no way to sleep through all the commotion. Everyone would yell the countdown and shout as loud as possible while clanging their cookware. Fun times.

I've had to keep it down around here though. Maybe I can get more neighbors on board next year.

Once I went out to a club for NYE. As I went in, I saw a girl approaching me and I was jealous of how great she looked. After awhile, I realized I was trying to step past a mirror. X_X

Too bad one of us didn't have some brains.

Since, I stay in and saw logs.
