All Things Twins/Multiples

Hi ladies, this is my first post. We are having twins, one boy and one girl. I'd love to hear ANY SIGNIFICANT INFO from anyone also expecting twins or who has already had twins. For example, tips, the most useful things for a registry, plans for sleeping set up, if you had or plan on a traditional delivery or cesarean, how long you carried them, what you most look forward to, most enjoy, or are nervous about with multiples. Thanks so much!

  • I forgot to include one of my biggest ?s.. Which travel system and pack and play is best for two!

  • I have identical girls now 3.5. Best thing to do is keep them on the same schedule. Feed them, change them, burp them at the same time.
Do NOT wait for one to wake up to do
It! Schedule was everything and helps you stay same and get a little sleep. Also don't be afraid to have a small chart to check off who pooped, peed, ate ect because in the middle of the night you learn to do it with your eyes closed and it's easy to catch yourself wondering who you fed! I loved our Chicco double stroller. Don't do a side by side as so many stores you won't be able to fit down the aisles. Also breathe, it's double the fun, double the love, kisses and hugs. Never double trouble, never, never! It is hard but you will find a routine and it will be a piece of cake after that ;) good luck!!
  • Ps. I vaginally delivered at 35.4 weeks and baby B was breech- the doctors pushed for a c-section and I was admit to have a vaginal birth and after much pushing for myself I was told two doctors would attempt so I was induced to be on both doctors rotations back to back. Advocate for what you want, not what the doctors think is easier. I knew I could do it and I did (no health concerns obv.) 18 min of pushing and 3 min apart. I knew in my heart I could so go for what your comfortable with. Good luck momma!
