I feel tired on and off. I also have nausea. LO seems to have picked my stomach and intestines as his favorite organs to kick/punch, making me want to barf or, ahem, use the bathroom.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I got some blood work results back. I appear to be slightly anemic. Appointment with OB on Tuesday will let me know if I need any treatment.

QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?
I enjoy cook-outs and many things outdoors. I hope to try doing game nights once LO is older.

Nauseous but OK. At least I'm better off than prior pregnancies.

Just had an appointment and got to see the baby's heartbeat, so that was cool.

QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?
I like to play board games with them like Candyland, Don't Break the Ice, Hiss, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and little games like Rock Paper Scissors. I also like doing electronics kits with my son, and he's the one who always wants to do them. I also like reading their favorite books, and my daughter's is "I Want my Hat Back", and they like the Rainbow Fish series. DS likes the C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia series, and currently loves an old book from the 1800's called "Red Rooney." My husband like to get outdoors and go hiking and stuff, and we go to parks a lot too.

4. I'm feeling awful but not because of pregnant symptoms but because I have a terrible cold. Hopefully when I call my ob this morning she can give me some good recommendations on what drugs I can take. I am a total mess!

May 15, 21 weeks tomorrow, (large) pomegranate: he was 14oz on Wednesday at the anatomy scan, so just under a pound!

4. How are you feeling? Feeling quite well, adjusting emotionally to the growing belly (it's so weird to see!). No complaints this week!

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? So relieved the anatomy scan went well. We had the best sonography tech - thorough and up-beat; she could tell I was nervous and cracked a joke or two at key moments, which I made me feel a lot better.

QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?

Shopping for food at a green market and cooking; hiking; traveling. Come May, I bet a new favorite activity will involve the baby soundly sleeping.

2 kids. 2 yr old DD. 6 yr old DS. 1 black lab. he's 10.

Feeling a little bit better in regards to morning sickness. I'm having problems sleeping. Big time insomnia. I fall asleep very easily and I usually fall asleep around 9-10pm. I'll sleep for a couple of hours and then I'm up for hours on end without being able to fall asleep. it sucks! So then I'm exhausted all day long.

Well.. some of you might recall my issues with trying to find a new OB here close to home and close to work. I finally did find one and I've been seen a couple of times just introductory baseline stuff. They're working on ordering my injections but I had to have my first one at my other hospital on the 29th. I have an appt. for my next one with this new OB.. I call today.. they still don't have it in stock! I have a standing appt. with the other hospital on the 5th and now I might have to drive out there for my 2nd injection too because this new doc still does not have my meds! Kind of irritating. My big anatomy scan was scheduled for the 14th and I changed it today for the 16rh. It was at 10am and I know I won't want to go back to work after that.. I'll be too excited and wanting to share with everyone so I changed it to the 16th which is a Friday and I'll get to just go home afterward so it will be much more fun.

IF all is well of course.

Hmm.. we are kind of homebodies. One of my favorite things is date day with my son. He struggled a little bit when I had our DD and I try to do a date day with him once a month where we just go to lunch or dinner and a movie or something fun. We didn't have a date in December.. Our last date was in November and included my mom.. we took him to see the Fresh Beat Band. lol Another favorite is probably nacho night. lol LIke once a month we'll make a huge platter of nachos.. kick the dog out of the room.. and lay towels all over the floor and lay on the floor eating nachos and watching our favorite movies. lol The kids LOVE it.

I am having some back pain but other than that I am good. I think I may be getting sick though which would be a great way to start the new year!

I have an appointment next Tuesday. We got our panorama results back last Thursday and everything is normal. We also found out the sex - a girl!

We like to travel. We are planning a trip to Washington DC over Easter and taking the train. I am also hoping to make it to see my sister after she gives birth in May but I need to clear the trip with my OB since I will have to fly.

It's been 8 days since I threw up. I almost completed the winter holiday trifecta, after puking on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Despite some bouts with nausea on NYE / NY, I made it through puke-free.I had a blood pressure scare yesterday. My non-pregnant BPs are usually low (100-110 / 60-70). I started getting a headache on Tuesday night. Tylenol took the edge off, but the headache came back worse each time. The headache was my typical migraine and didn't seem out of the ordinary. By yesterday, it was pretty severe. I started getting short-of-breath yesterday too. Something finally clicked in my head and I thought "hmmm, pre-eclampsia?" So I took my BP and it was 145/70-something. (!!!!) I didn't know if the BP caused the headache (big problem), or just having severe pain caused the high BP (not a problem). So I took a nap for a couple hours and repeated the BP. Thank GOD it was fine.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I just have my usual 28-week check in a couple weeks, plus the glucose test at the same time. I finally sat down to transfer items back and forth from my work calendar and personal calendar to look for conflicts. Wouldn't you know, I'm supposed to give a lecture right smack in the middle of my 28-week appointment and glucose test. That ain't happening. I'm also supposed to give another lecture at 36 weeks. Hopefully this girl doesn't come early!
QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?We love doing outdoor stuff, which is not compatible with living in Ohio. DH moved here fror a mountainous area. I moved here from the beach. Now we sulk and complain about how there's nothing to do but throw rocks in the river. We have some friends in the same situation and we do game nights with them now. We started 5-6 years ago when none of us had kids. It gets harder and harder to get together now. They have 3, ages 2 months - 5 years. We have 1, plus 1 on the way.

This is my first check in.

1. This isn't official since I haven't been able to see a dr yet, but according to the due date calculator I will be 5 weeks tomorrow and my due date is Sept 5. Appleseed.

2. I will be 42 at time of delivery.

3. We have one daughter who was born in 2013 on Thanksgiving after several losses. She just turned one. We thought we were done. We also have one dog, a goofy female vizsla.

4. I'm feeling...all over the place. I tried to make an appt with my dr and found out she isn't doing ob anymore. So I have to find a new dr. Nobody wants to take me as a patient without reviewing my records first because they consider me high risk. So I haven't even had any betas yet. I was really worried because with my daughter I was put on progesterone first thing, so I asked my old boss for advice (she's OB/GYN) and she called in the rx for me. I started it last night and had a horrible anxiety/panic attack in the middle of the night. I don't know if it was the progesterone or just my nerves. Aside from all that, I've had very mild symptoms so far. Occasional stretching/pulling feeling, very light wave of almost but not quite nausea every once in awhile, shooting breast pain every once in awhile. Not really feeling anything today.

5. No appts yet, I really hope someone will take me so I can get in and confirm this is a viable pregnancy. With my history I just don't know what to believe yet. My rant is that it used to be a pregnant woman could just go see a dr. This is so wrong leaving me in limbo.

QOTW...our daughter isn't old enough yet to do a lot of the things we love. I love board games. H and I love sailing. I think right now I'd just settle for some good walks.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Today 7w6d was when I went to the ER and the beginning of the end of my last pregnancy so it is a big deal.
I had my first ultrasound on monday and we saw a good heartbeat and were measuring on track so that was awesome.

H and I like going to good restaurants, sporty things (rock climbing and biking) and traveling. We may have to adjust our activities!

OK - large and sleep is getting harder and harder if that is even possible. And lots more heartburn. Oh - and starting to get anxious because we realize that this little one will be here soon! (exciting but since our first - a bit anxious due to all that is unknown!)
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Had my 36 week this week - had GBS and TDaP - arm is finally no longer sore and will get GBS results on the 6th at my 37 week appt (Jan 6th). OB also did a quick internal / cervical check to make sure baby was head down (he/she is) but as a result I bled a LOT - soaked a liner in 15 min and then went through 2 pads rest of day and I think I may have lost my mucous plug (there was something large, blobby, red and well - mucousy in the evening - sorry about the TMI!)... and what is annoying is I still have some minor dark brown spotting. They said this was normal since I have a sensitive cervix - but seriously don't want to have any more checks if this is what happens!

I don't think DH and I really have any family activities - other than eating and travel! We definitely want to keep traveling with this LO so hopefully we will be able to take him/her to see all that we do. When I was a kid we played a lot of board games so would like to do that, and once LO is old enough teach them to ski.

EDIT / UPDATE : Just heard back from Dr's office - GBS negative - not like it matters really - but one less thing to have to wait to hear back on - and also means no automatic IV with antibiotics (really dislike needles - esp since they always have a hard time getting a good vein!)

Yesterday I cleaned my house from top to bottom. Today...about to take a nap. I don't even want to look at a piece of laundry.

Just had an appt today. Still 1cm. And a$$hat dr didn't even want to discuss inducing. I just want a date. That's all. Go back next Thursday for my next appt. I think my problem comes with never having seen the same person twice at this clinic and that it is supposed to be a HR clinic yet everyone is so lax. Don't get me started on them sending students in to ask me how I am feeling. This has just been the worst care I have ever received while pregnant. I will be so glad to be done with them. Ok, vent over.

We love taking little trips places or go camping. But mainly we just like to do things together.

@Lady2010--I don't think the anxiety goes away with more kids! This is our fourth and I am still freaking out about how we're going to manage with a new baby. And, I feel like I forgot how to handle a newborn!

It never seems "real" to me until the baby arrives. I know last time, I was freaked out about how we were going to handle 3 kids, but once the baby was in my arms I was like, "Oh, yeah, I remember now. I can do this, b/c I love this little one so much already."

Good. My right hip hurts some, but my fiance' and I have been hikihg a bit, so I attribute the pain to that (and sleeping on my side).

No appointments til MLK day. Just keep counting the days that pass. Not sure when I will feel it is safe to fully be excited ... maybe week 20?

QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try? Like many of you, we love to travel and to hike. Hiked today and the fiance' said that he's looking forward to carrying the baby during our hikes. We like to see new things, too. (Today we visited an animal sanctuary in our town, which was awesome.) Hoping to keep a lot of that going once our little girl is here.

4. The week-long stomach virus has left my body, yippee! But it has been replaced by a cold, boo. Otherwise I'm feeling good pregnancy-wise. Baby is kicking up a storm and I love the reassurance of feeling him.

5. Appt next week. Even though I passed the halfway mark I feel like I have so long to go. My belly is pretty big already and with so much time left I know it's just going to keep growing and growing....

QOTW: I love to travel and thankfully DD is a good little traveler. It's a small thing but I really enjoy family meals every evening. Family hikes are great. Someday we'll be able to do more advanced activities like theme parks and water parks and board games and flying kites.

MySallyGirl - I recently had a doozy of a cold and completely lost my voice to boot. My OB approved Sudafed and Mucinex in their normal doses, and he even said Nyquil was ok to help me sleep, but only for 2-3 days. (I am not high risk, not sure if that makes a difference). I hope you feel better soon!

Creaky. I just feel like every joing in my body aches and if I sit still or lie down for too long, it takes me a minute to slowly get the old bones moving again.

My anatomy scan is on Monday. I am very anxious to make sure everything is still ok, expecialyl since I haven't felt any movement yet, getting good results at the anatomy scan will definitely make me feel less anxious.

Not sure if we have any favorite activities. DH and I like to eat out, but we're trying to do that less so we can save money. We are also big sports fans, and we love TV (is that terrible) and have numerous shows that we watch religiously.

. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Due 1/9; c-section 1/8!!!!!! I think baby is BIG. My last 2 were 8#10 oz and 8#11oz. I am guessing around 9.

2. Age at delivery? (optional) I'm 39. Turn 40 on 1/27.

3. Any other children? Furbabies? DD turns 6 on 1/23; DS and DD2 turned 4 and 2 in Dec.

4. How are you feeling? Okay.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? My LAST OB appt is on Monday! Whoa! Next up after that is the c-section. Now that it looks like I will make the c-section date (no progress whatsoever), I kind of wish I could wait a few day longer...but that's not going to happen with the repeat c scheduled! Still have a lot of things we're hoping to get done this week in terms of cleaning, organizing, and taking down Christmas. I'm getting nervous now, too. Nervous about the surgery, about all going well, about breastfeeding again, and about how we're going to handle four kids!

Raves: we FINALLY got take-out Chinese a couple days ago. I have totally been craving it but I'm the only one who really loves it. I ate enough for the whole family. It was awesome. And today, we got to go out to breakfast, another thing I LOVE to do. Kind of fun--we went to the same family restaurant we went to on the day that I was heading to the hospital at night to start my induction with DD1. Took a photo out front as we did that day, with me in the same old red maternity coat!!

We're going back to square one again in terms of our ability to get out easily with the family, so not much right now. Just love watching all the littles play together. We love to go up north to our cabin in the summer.

@Lady2010 - OMG, that DTaP shot hurt like a MF for a week! I thought I was just being a wuss but now I know it's the shot!

   Well, not much has changed from last week as far as my back goes, but I'm in full on nesting mode now.

We bought our carseat yesterday, which was huge relief! Have a few more things to get, but for the most part we're prepared.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
   Had my weekly BPP ultrasound today and OB appt. Doc has scheduled me for induction on 2/12!! He said my amniotic fluid is increasing and if it continues to increase, he may induce a little sooner. He'll make that decision after the growth u/s on 1/20. Soooo...we are 5 weeks away from meeting our little chimpmunk!! Next up is my weekly BPP on 1/12.

       Board games, card games...any family game night is a favorite for me!

No human children. I have a snug bug - my dog, who's in my avatar. He's an 11 y.o. Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix, and is snoozing on my feet.
4. How are you feeling?
Fine now! M/s in the am is not yet letting up. I've had intermittent unexplained bleeding throughout the 1st tri, which has backed off to light bleeding occasionally, with spotting the rest of the time. No cramps, though.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

I had my first appt. at my dr.'s office today - finally! We got to hear the heartbeat on the Doppler (first time on the Doppler - yay!), and I'll be back to see the dr. for an exam and lab results later this week. It is an enormous relief to finally have someone doing everything that needs to get done, and following my care.
QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?

We love to camp and explore, and I can't wait to share that with our LO. I know the summer baby is born is too soon to overnight camp, but some close friends will be camping about an hour from our home in late August, and if we're feeling up to it we'll probably take the baby down for a day visit. So exciting! It feels like having a LO opens up all the stuff we already do together to doing it again for the first time, because you can see if through their eyes.

No human children. I have a 2 year old Yellow Lab who I am in love with.
4. How are you feeling?
Not well, I am not throwing up, but am almost always nauseous and I can't sleep, I get to sleep fine but am often waking up and cannot get back to sleep. I am now on day 2 of sleep deprivation, and am looking for some relief. I broke down in tears this morning for the lack of sleep and am hoping with a few adjustments I can get a better night sleep. Breast are still very sore.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

This is weird, the OB I go to doesn't even want to see me until 10 weeks so I don't know anything until then, I did have a 6 week conversation with a NP on the phone, as of now they do not consider me high risk so I guess it is ok. I am nervous about the amount of tests I will be having to make sure my baby will be ok. Very scared and nervous, but looking forward to enjoying this pregnancy.

I love taking by crazy 2 year old Lab for a walk with my DH. Also watching football on Sundays. Good Times.

@MalonT23‌ some Drs are weird like that and won't see you until 8/10 wks. My first ob was 8 wks. I ended up being 7wks due to the u/s dating. And then they didn't want to see me back for 6 more wks. But I ended up leaving that clinic. The wait though until your first appt is sooo agonizing.

Much better and glad to have time to come on here! Almost everyone in my family was sick with influenza. Before that my one daughter and I had the stomach bug. Ugh! Was so grateful everyone was feeling good for Christmas break!

I need to go get my diabetes test done, but have not. Really need to do that before my Dr. appt. next week.

We like to have little backyard cookouts in out fire pit. Going to the zoo. Right now with it being winter our family date every night is watching wheel of fortune together. Lol!

Due date is Sept. 19th.. the day after my mom's birthday!

No kids, but we do have 3 pups and 1 3-legged cat

4. How are you feeling?

I'm okay, but it's really early. Have had some cramping and a little nausea, but that's it so far. Hoping there is some truth to morning sickness being genetic... my mom had no issues. Lucky lady.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

First appt is Feb. 9th

Due date is July 5, I'm 14 weeks and according to the ticker she's the size of a lemon

2. Age at delivery? (optional) 36

3. Any other children? Furbabies? First child, no furbabies, but I want one!

4. How are you feeling? Allergies are in full swing so feeling blah, but other than that I think I have turned a corner. Hello 2nd tri!

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

Next appointment is on 1/26. Praying all is well! So far all my scans and tests have come back great. I just pray she continues to grow and be healthy!

QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try?

Right now it's just me and DH and we love taking day trips-Texas is a good place to do that. We enjoy our date nights out, dinner/movie. We're looking for new places to travel to!

1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Due August 24th, I'm 7w/3d, and the baby is the size of a blueberry!

2. Age at delivery? (optional) I will be 38.
3. Any other children? Furbabies? I have a DD that will be 16 in April and 1 fur baby.
4. How are you feeling? Overall blah; sore breasts, nausea, headache. Also at the tail end of a 3 week cold.
5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Just saw my endocrinologist to have my levels checked, I have Hashimoto's. Hopefully I am doing well and he won't have to make any adjustments to my medication. Next week I will have my first OB appointment. Excited to hear the baby's heartbeat!! An interesting side note -- my sister is also pregnant! She got her BFP a week before mine. She is 6 weeks, so our babies will be very close in age.QOTW: What are your favorite family activities? Are there any new ones you'd like to try? We live in upstate NY and like to spend a lot of our time hiking and camping. There are also a lot of great waterfalls in the area. We also like to travel, go to the movies and to dinner. Because of our busy work schedules, whenever we have free time, we really want to take advantage of it and spend it together.
