Hi! I'm pretty new to the boards so i though I'd introduce myself. I have a (nearly) 3 mth old girl named Autumn Rain, I am 27 and head over heels in love with my baby (& husband!). I just had major knee surgery 2 days ago so I am unable to get around much, especially with my baby... I'm used to working multiple jobs at once and staying super busy, but now I am a SAHM which is quite a change. I love it but am looking to get some adult conversations, advice, and support in these forums, unfortunately there isn't much in my area for mommy and me type classes where I could socialize with someone who knows and understands what I'm going through, so I figured this forum was the next best thing. Any advice for a FTM that is pretty much just wingin things?
Re: New Here!
My advice is to make sure you get some you time. I didn't think I needed it at first but it's super important.
Your DD is adorable!
The library is an easy and cheap way to get out of the house, and there are usually other moms there. Ditto to what @hillgirl322 said about you time. Also, just enjoy your DD! She's adorable!
How did you come to find this board - the app or via a search? Happy to have you!
I have two: 8yr and 3.5yr and I've been at home for 9yrs. Time has flown by! I totally agree making time for yourself (I like to garden, read, do my Barre3 workouts and get online or call my family/friends during naptime and after they go to bed at night) should be a priority... the best you can make it.

I live in a very rural area so the grocery store and library are excellent sources of entertainment for my two boys.
