Stay at Home Moms

It's Thursday right? UO time.

It seems that I haven't seen these in a while.

I've got 2.
1) I don't enjoy holding other people's babies, especially if they are being fussy, when the mom is sitting right there, not doing anything about it.
2) I don't get it when people say they are surprised when they find out they got a positive pregnancy test. If you are doing the deed and not preventing it, then don't act all surprised when the test comes back positive.  If you hammer long enough, you're eventually going to build something.

  • I was totally shocked when we got pregnant with DD. I usually have 2-3 months in between cycles. I got pregnant only 20 days after my period. Was not expecting that at all.

I was surprised with DD. Yes, we were trying so I shouldn't have been surprised. I was trying to track ovulation. But I wasn't seeing it. So I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I had a miscarriage two months earlier so I was expecting it to be a little bit before we got pregnant again.

  • @jag101‌ I got a positive test despite being on the pill for 10 years. Should I not have been surprised?
  • @bostonkisses your right, I could have picked a better word than surprised.

@monkeybutt1612 Absolutely you should have been shocked and surprised, as you were trying to prevent it from happening.

I'm referring to the people that are doing the deed, not using any preventive measures then being devastated because they get a pregnant.

  • Yeah, it said not preventing and being surprised. If you use zero birth control, you shouldn't be surprised lol!
Totally agree with the baby holding. I have no desire to hold a fussy baby that isn't mine.
I will see the birth control comment and raise you. I think women who don't know the anatomical parts of their labia are weird. Oh you are surprised you don't pee out of your vag? This is brought to you by the episode of OITNB I watched lol! I taught DD the words labia because it's not all her vagina. It's the correct term. If I had a son I wouldn't want him to call his testicles his penis right?
And here is a controversial one. I think most boxes of chocolate like pot of gold, etc are disgusting. Like gag. I do love chocolate, but not with weird chemical fillings. I looked at a box of cherry creams and there were only chemicals, no cherry in there at all!
  • I think it's ridiculous when grown adults can't say having sex and have to call it doing the deed,
