Hey ladies! Wondering how often you are bathing your babies. My son has just started to actually enjoy his baths and we bathe him every few days. He seems to sleep the best after a bath at night so would love to increase them but wonder if bathing too much isn't a good thing (dry skin etc.)? I plan to ask more at his doctors appointment but would love to know your experience and maybe it is just a coincidence that he sleeps better after one. Thanks as always!
Re: How often are you bathing your baby?
Because of this, we usually bath her mid-morning when she's wide awake, before she takes her morning nap. For her bedtime routine, in place of a bath, we do baby massage. She has mixed feelings about it, but loves having her feet and hands rubbed more than anything.
We're trying to work in a bath every evening as part of her bedtime routine, using calming soap/shampoo around twice per week (every time on her hands and butt). We've skipped a night or three here and there due to unpredictable evening naps. 7:00 had been too early to start as she would cat nap until 10, then be up until 1-2; but, when we tried to push bath time to 8-9 (whenever she wakes from catnap & eats) she started sleeping until midnight with a quick snack and back out for the night! Guess we'll try at 7:00 again... or maybe she'll be a quick morning shower girl instead?
His face gets wiped off with a damp cloth at least once a day.

I try to wipe off her face and hands with a damp cloth every day.
I think if you wanted to do naked time, you could buy tucks pads? Would that work for boys, or does it spray all in the air?
Eta: words are hard
We have been sticking to bathing about once a week.
If that's not a possibility, we've also used the peri bottle for rinsing.
