Hello! I eat a largely vegetarian diet (some chicken now and then), and we're TTC. I feel like I eat a pretty balanced diet now, and get plenty of protein from beans, dairy, etc., but I know those needs will change when I'm pregnant! So I'm just curious to know how you ladies get your nutrients, especially protein and Omega 3s, without eating meat.
Thanks!

I'm a pescatarian (I just eat fish, no chicken/red meat)... agree with the above posts about beans and legumes. ?I still eat peanut butter, not sure if I'll change that after we start ttc next month. ?I obviously get plenty of omega 3s from the fish a few times a week. ?I also take B-12 supplements. ?
I really want to read Skinny *** Bun in the Oven if I do get KU.
?And ditto to the cheese and soy! ?And lots of veggies.?
Is that what I am, a pescatarian? I once heard someone call it a vege-aquarian (I think it was pink). Thanks for giving me a label!
Didn't realize Rory had written another book, thanks for the heads up. I'll email her a congrats now and let her know that it is getting talked about on the bump!
