Cycle # gazillion status: cd9 of a natural/TI cycle, Genetics appointment for PGS on the 12th, abbreviated orientation 21st, then IVF 1.2 right away or waiting a cycle depending on funds. Thankful for: 1. The ttc break that allowed me to refocus and realize how amazing my girls are. 2. The income opportunities that are allowing us to give IVF 1.2 a chance. 3. My new RE that isn't afraid to tell it to me straight, and told me SIF does not define me, and NOT having another child will not break me. I'm sad to realize nothing remotely unrelated to ttc came to mind. So even though a resolution wasn't a part of this, I'm adding that I fucking refuse to let ttc control my life and thinking in 2015 the way it did in 2014. Edit: I'm mobile and it only posted a portion of what I typed the first time Grrr

Editing again: @sailorgal said to list 3 things that HAPPENED so I tried to answer that literally, and therefore sound like an unthankful beyotch - obvi MH and girls are the most amazing people in my world and I thank the universe (bitch that she can be) everyday for letting them be in my life :)

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015.
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal.
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur.
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

  • Status: CD 7 of IUI cycle. Monitoring appointment on Monday the 5th. If all looks good, RE wants to trigger that day and do IUI the morning of the 6th.

    QOTW:
    1. I did some training in September for a program designed to help children with autism. It has helped my own son and pretty much all of my clients and students and I'm grateful that I was able to do that training. The change I've seen in these kids have me the courage to try for treatment with the RE. If we do get another kid on the spectrum, I feel more equipped to handle that than most parents and even other professionals I know.

    2. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents this year. They're getting older and I really enjoyed spending time with them.

    3. DH and I overhauled our house over the last week. We cleaned out everything and sold, donated, recycled, or repurposed stuff from every room in our house including the attic. We still have a lot of stuff, but much less than we did before and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and I can breathe again. DH and I moved into our place 8 years ago today and I am thankful to be starting the new year with a clean slate.
  • Status: Hoping January is the month for pre-testing for IVF/ICSI #4.

    1. I was hired and am working on two projects for two different companies from home remote and it is helping possibly justify the expense for IVF#4.

    2. DH seems to really like his new position and seems happier overall.

    3.  The little ones seem to like their new preschool.

all AL welcome. TTC #2 for 43 44 months.
follow my infertility journey here at timestandsstillblog.com

  • I'm still on BCPs and started lupron a few days ago hoping to do an FET at the end of the month.  Baseline is supposed to be next Tuesday.  Hopefully things work out with Jury duty since I was summoned to start that on Monday for a two-week period.  If I can't do baseline this week (and possibly if I can't do it on Tuesday), I will be postponed.  If I am postponed, that will be indefinite since work will be getting crazy in February for a while and the Neupogen I have left will expire before I could restart and I can't afford to buy more of it right now.

This year has been difficult in so many ways.  It is hard to find a lot for which I am thankful at the moment.  However, my husband, my daughter and my mom are forever on my thankful list.  So, I am thankful for them.  As to things that happened in 2014...I'm not so sure!

QOTW:  For the most part, 2014 can piss off, but there were some great things to come out of it:

    1. I become more and more proud of DD each day.  She's a sassy pants at times, but holy crap, she is a smart little bugger.  And oh, the things she says.  She is constantly making me laugh.

    2. Though this whole debacle with IF has truly sucked, I can't help but notice how much closer DH and I are because of everything we've been going through.  Thankful for his patience when I'm at my worst... which has been 95% of the last year, it seems.

    3. 2014 will always be the (shitty) year we lost our dog to a sudden illness, but we also brought home a new little pup to be a part of the family.  While we miss our first dog every single day, the new pup is constantly learning and growing and is such a love bug.
