Hi there! My husband and I just finished our first month of trying to conceive, only to receive a BFN.
Don't be discouraged. Sometimes it just takes a little while get a BFP. The girls on this board are honest and knowledgeable. Read the newbie blog and follow along on the posts. You'll gain a lot of info.
Hi Shannon! I've been lurking for sometime now on this forum so this is my first post too!
My husband and I just finished trying our first month as well only to receive AF 2 days early this month! I know it can take time, however, I have to admit how disappointed I was. DH was so super excited to start TTC that I felt like I let him down. I know I shouldn't put pressure on myself already but he was so darn cute during the 2WW. I had major heartburn for 4 days which I NEVER get and my boobs were quite sore, but then it all stopped and AF came early which NEVER happens as well. I am always 28 days. Anyways, we are trying to have fun with it and looking forward to next time Good luck!!!!
Welcome. Please consider temping to help with TTC. Cycles and periods are assholes. Even the most "regular" person can ovulate early or late. I hope this is a short stay for you but temping can help alleviate the stress and disappointment of CD 1 or BFNs. Good luck.

You're wondering if you had a miscarriage? First, you didn't. Second, why would you want to wish such pain upon yourself. This is pretty insensitive to people who have actually had losses.

Welcome and good luck!! As other has posted please be sure to read the newbie blog as the information provided there is plentiful and super helpful. Also be sure to sign up FF as that had great information as well
Actually, my fertility specialist stated recently that it is believed that as many as 70% of pregnancies end before we even know they are happening. She said that these may cause minor symptoms or inconsistencies, but then fade away & a new cycle begins.
