Spotting question

in Pregnant after a Loss
How much is too much? When to call?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but my loss was due to no heartbeat and I haven't dealt with spotting before. I haven't even been to my OB yet :(

 
EDD 1/8/10 - our sweet sunshine DD born 12/30/09
EDD 2/15/14 - Stillbirth at 21 wks 10/02/13
EDD 8/12/15 - MMC 1/12/15

    I always call with any spotting (I know others don't). IMO that's why the doctor is there. Sorry you are dealing with spotting- it is so scary!

    Yep, what everyone else said - call your doctor. 

    I had spotting last week, and it was even expected, and I still called. I'd rather be overcautious than not cautious enough.

    Thanks all - I called and spoke to the nurse and she conferenced with my dr. and have me in a "wait and see" for the next 24 hours. She said if it was worrisome I'd be bleeding more than I described, so hoping it is nothing to worry about.  I see the dr. on Monday - even more nervous now.

    Be sure to tell the doctor if you're Rh negative if/when you call about spotting. They won't necessarily check your file, as that's a pretty routine call for them. (I'm a broken record on this topic. :) )

    Hope all is well! I had a fair bit of spotting with this pregnancy.

IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    @mingaling2‌ try not to stress. A lady I worked with spotted off and on throughout her entire pregnancy, did not get put on bed rest, went full term and delivered a perfectly health baby! Some women spotting is normal. T&P

    Glad to see that you called your doctor. I spotted week 6 and week 9. I'm 16 weeks now and haven't experienced it again. It is super scary. Hang in there. -hugs-

    FX that it is nothing. I know many ladies that had spotting and delivered healthy babies.
