Plus size maternity bras

Suggestions for the best place to find plus size nursing bras & tops? Is there a brand you mamas prefer? I want support & comfort, and the combination seems to be a lot to ask!

Re: Plus size maternity bras

  • Lane Bryant has 1 or 2 I think. Other then that I've had no luck. (I'm a 42 DDD)

  • You might have some luck just going into a specialty bra store and asking to have one fitted, they will oft be able to order them in if they don't have your size. Unfortunately a bit more expensive but i know a few plus sized mums (and will be one) and that seemed to be the best bet. Sorry can't help more!
  • Try finding this one store called torrid, I just went there and bought a size 42c it fits great, it's an amazing store for plus size women.
  • I haven't bought any from them yet, but have read good things about the Hot Milk bras, which seem to run in a wide range of sizes. They have a website and also appear to be sold on Amazon. I think someone also mentioned they sometimes have sales on Zullily. If you find anything great/comfy, let me know! I live in sports bras at this point.

I bought off of leadinglady.com I'm a 44b. So hard to find since they think all plus size have big boobs! Shirts j just shop for at the avenue when they have sales
  • I bought 40 F at Motherhood, super comfy & they won't break the bank at $30 each. But, I think they measure differently than other stores, because VS has always measured me at a 34 band size. IYa worth a shot though!

Interesting... This makes me think I should go somewhere else and get measured. Motherhood told me I was a 40G last week. The bra I was wearing was a 36D. I think it may be time for a trip to Nordstroms to figure out just how big these WMDs have gotten.
  • I was in Motherhood Maternity a few days back & the store had band size up to 46 & cups to C-F in their plus sizes. Check their website as some stores carry plus size & some don't.
  • 38ddd I think I am until I get a motherhood bra. They do not run the sane in size. I need to get measured desperately.
  • Elomi, Anita, fancee Free are brand sthat offer large size bras and nursing bras.

I get fitted at a local bra shop.  It saves a LOT of hassle.

    I nursed #1 and &2 at 44J.

For pregnancy - I just wore regular well-fitting bras.  I switched from wire to no-wire b/c after about a G cup, my proportions didn't work with wired bras very well.

    Go get fitted!

I have a hot milk nursing bra that I bought my last pregnancy and I hated it. I measured myself before I ordered it and it still wasn't a good fit. Really uncomfortable.

I think I should bite the bullet and get measured somewhere too.

Nordstroms will usually concert any bra purchased through them into a nursing bra. It worked for me last pregnancy... I'll have to go again this time, bumped up another cup size.

That's so sad... That's what I was before I got pregnant. Now they are just MASSIVE!

  • @court476 that ud how I feel about mine. My 5'1" self feels all Boob's
  • Ok ladies- I've had some success! Vanity Fair bras have turned out to be very comfortable for me! They are made for full figured women so the cups are pretty forgiving for my expanding girls! I chose the soft cup style, found them at Kohls and was able to pick them up for a pretty good price. Yessssss!
