Nickname Help

I've really come to love the names Adaline and Adelaide, however I very much dislike the nickname Addie. Any suggestions for alternative nicknames? I'm going this solo so I don't have a whole lot of people to bounce ideas off of, so thanks in advance!

    Well, I'm not sure what others you could use for the names, but I also don't feel that a nickname is a necessity. I think the names by themselves are just fine! And at the end of the day, if you must, a nickname can be anything.

    Are you pronouncing Adaline like add-uh-lyn or add-uh-line? If the first one, then Lynn could be a NN. I prefer the spelling Adeline, FWIW. Also, if you have a real aversion to Addie, I personally would rethink the names. She may decide to go by that in the future.

    If you hate Addie then I would avoid both names.
    I have a deep aversion to the sound of Annie so that's why I won't let DH have Anna/Annabel.
