@britb618 and @grumpycat88  Really?!? Wow... alright, removing the gif

And @britb618, Rest assured, I highly doubt a c-section will look or feel anything like the scene from Alien. At any hospital. Ever. ; )  LOL  Sorry I offended anyone, didnt think that would happen. Happy New Years Eve everyone!!

  • @NicoleMarie0914‌

Thanks for removing the gif, it was definitely too gory for me. I appreciate you being understanding!

  • @BookitBoo‌ No problem, it wasnt my intent to offend or freak anyone out. I guess I just have a little more twisted sense of humor than most! = /

  • In response to the original post, yes, I am having a RCS on 1/22. I'm not particularly thrilled about it, but it is what it is. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

  • @grumpycat88‌ The one with the guy was in the original 70s Alien. And the one with Sigourney was in the 80s.

  • @grumpycat88‌ Np and AFTER the birth would probably be the best time to watch them for sure!! Lol

  • Forgive me if this is a stupid question but someone told me they would rather have a c section than a vaginal birth, I didn't think it was a choice.. Do any of know if you can choose to have a c section without medically needing one?

  • I've actually had women who've gone naturally and had a C tell me they'd do a C again instead if naturally. However, I think they were just trying to make me feel better as I'm a FTM and will b having a C on 1/16 due to placenta previa but I will pretend they meant it :-P lol. My OB did tell me the other day he does have a mom who is electing a C for her own personal reasons, not medically required so ya, I guess it does happen. I've done a ton of research and although I'm still definitely nervous about it, I realize hundreds and hundreds of women go through it each year. As long as u pay attention to ur body (don't rush but don't b lazy) u can recover rather quickly n healthily. Hope everything goes smooth for u n GL :-)
  • I'm another who had a really easy recovery and was not upset about my first csection, even though it was urgent and nothing went as planned. I'm looking forward to my RCS in a few weeks in the sense that I know what to expect.

  • My c section went well the first time and although I'm not 'looking forward' to surgery I would also not be 'looking forward' to Vaginal birth. Good luck however you birth your baby most important is that both you and baby are healthy once baby is born!
