@Klavanga74 posted about transitioning your LO to the crib. Most people were right about to start, so I am curious how it is going for everyone and if you have any new tips/tricks to share!
How old was your LO when you transitioned to crib? (Or when do you plan to)
How long did it take you to make the transition? How did it go?
Any tips or tricks that have helped you?
Re: Transitioning to Crib check-in (Update on your progress?)
My current internal debate is when to switch her to the crib at night. She has been doing a good 2 hour nap in the crib during the day, which is perfect, but I am hoping for 3-4 hour stretches at night. I would love to do it when my husband is off work, which is next week (so she will be 4 weeks) or after Christmas (she will be 9 weeks). That way he can help me with the transition.
Our process is to nurse her then give her a bottle of formula (we normally supplement) then I swaddle her and Rock her standing in front of the crib. She has a mobile that makes heart beat noises so I turn that on and when she falls asleep I lay her down. It usually takes 3 rounds to get her to not wake up when I lay her down, about a 15-20 minute process.

I think I need softer/flannel sheets. I find that she likes to lay on soft material.
Now that we are all a little further along, how have your transitions to cribs gone?
I plan on working to move this up closer to when I return to work (April).
I do want to work on putting DD to bed drowsy but awake for naps, and unswaddled, so that the transition to daycare is easier on her sleep. I don't plan to start that until after the new year when my husband goes back to work.
My only advice is swaddling and white noise, which seem to help dd.
