For me it will be wine! I had a very strange, crazy, stressful day. I'm not even sure what made it feel like that but my head has been foggy all day.
I hope everyone else had a better day and I'm curious what is on the menu for dinner and for your glass! Feel free to share a fun/cute/silly story or gif for all those who had a day like mine!
Today turned really cold compared to yesterday so we are having minestrone soup with homemade bread.
Puppy has the cone of shame on him today since he got neutered yesterday. He looks so pitiful and he keeps on running into things. I feel so bad for him but he won't stop licking his wounds so this is all we can do.

I love minestrone! poor puppy I hope he heals fast!
That sounds SO good! @soouthernpeach89 Also, sorry about your pup, but trust me when I say it is much better to keep him from irritating his wound which will cause much more discomfort.
ETA: We are having rotisserie chicken and salad with tomato basil soup.
I'm sick, fever, sore throat and chills...we had some hot butter chicken and Chana masala hoping it would clear my sinuses...it didn't but it was flipping delish!! In my cup, a hot vanilla chai tea.

Ugh, I'm in such a fog today too and have no idea why. I'm exhausted even though I had plenty of sleep!!
How about that first round bye "our" boys got?!? Pretty happy about that! Hate waiting 2 weeks for the next game though.
I'm really spoiled - MH does all the cooking in our house so I have no idea WFD tonight. He's been talking about making pasta fagioli (from scratch!!) sometime this week, so potentially that.
yesss about the boys! I wish DH was making dinner but I was home today so its up to me. I am making chicken tacos.

Buffy had to wear the cone of shame after she had an Episioplasty. Poor baby had to wear it for 2 weeks. But yes, every time we tried to let her have it off, she immediately tried to lick her stitches. Hope your puppy heals fast.
------------------------------ Our girl had to wear one for an infection she got. Poor thing was miserable. She's crate trained, so she couldn't sleep in her crate. MH and I took turns sleeping on the couch and we blocked her in the living room with us.

Taco nachos!!! It's basically all the fixings of tacos just tossed onto some tortilla chips and baked to melt cheese then dipped into sour cream. Yummy.
ETA dumb autocorrect.

We're having Nilaga. It's a Filipino beef stew. We use beef obviously but it has onion, bok choy, potato, and cabbage in it. So good and perfect for this cold weather! Looks something like this when it is done.
That sounds so good!
I'm jealous of everyone's liquor consumption tonight. I've had a drink (or two) almost every single night for the past two weeks, so I decided I should take a break tonight since I will definitely be drinking on NYE. For dinner we had leftover salad and lasagna from last night. And water.

@homemakermama - and now I know what I'm making tomorrow for dinner.
