Anyone yet to have an anatomy scan and going crazy?

im due May 21 and it seems most of our forum has already had an anatomy scan! Is anyone out there gonna have theirs in January? How is everyone managing their anxiety leading up to the anatomy scan? ours is 1/6 and i have a feeling it's gonna be a long week.

Thanks to all the doctor drama I've been through I haven't even been seen in 6.5 weeks and won't be seen until January 8th. My anatomy scan isn't even scheduled.

Yea, I'm sure many of us towards the end of the month are still waiting. I'm due the 28th and my AS is scheduled for the 12th.

I might get some nerves closer to the appt, but I've started feeling LO move a lot more the last few days so I'm feeling pretty calm right now.

Mine is 1/5. I am due May 29th... I am not worried about the anatomy scan because he has been measuring on target and all blood work has come back perfect. Also, no one in my family has ever had complications at this point. I just have faith that he is healthy! I just can't wait to see him again! :x

Great to hear there's a bunch of us out there! I've been feeling baby kicking around quite a bit the past few days so that always brings me down to earth when I start getting anxious

Mine is tomorrow. I try to keep busy but focusing today has been hard. Just remember this isn't in your control, stay healthy, hydrated and as stress-free as possible and try not to worry.

Mine is also on Jan. 6th and I'm anxious/ excited! I also feel like it we be a long week. Hopefully it flies by. I am so jealous of the people who had ultrasounds very early on in their pregnancies, but I know that it is typical to not have one until 20 weeks so long as baby and I are healthy. It's just hard to be patient sometimes. Good things come to those who wait.

I haven't even scheduled mine, I'm due 5-30. I haven't even thought twice about it. I'm just trying to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy and not rush anything.

I'm due on 5/22, and just had mine last week because my quad screen came back elevated. My doctor hadn't even mentioned it up until that point {although he does ultrasounds at each appointment} and my next appointment with him isn't until the 1/14.

mine is 1/12 and I'm excited! I keep trying to find little things right now to help me not be so impatient this pregnancy. Like the AS or Christmas or my DS's birthday coming up too.

And TBH it's kind of making me a little extra excited for everything.

I'm due May 30 and haven't scheduled mine yet. I could any time actually, but I have two little kids, a low risk history, and I'm team green, so I'm probably less anxious/excited than most.

Due May 29th. I have my AS on 1/8. Feeling calm about it. Excited to see baby as I've felt no (recognizable) movement. Not nervous/stressed though. Just not worth it to feel that way IMO.

Im due 5/25 and my a/s and fetal echo are both 1/5. I'm not anxious, just excited. I have days I feel no flutters and others I feel many. Actually as I type this I just got a nudge from LO for the first time today *swoon*
I'm really excited because DH is taking the day off work to be at both u/s appointments. The fetal echo is first so we will get a good look at LO's heart in the morning, go for lunch and then the a/s in the afternoon. Also, monday is 20 weeks for me so it feels like the start of chapter two of the pregnancy. Just hoping LO cooperates

Try to keep yourself occupied, it'll be the day very soon!

I'm due 5/7 and had mine yesterday!! I'll be 22 weeks on Thursday and figured I would have mine earlier but it did not work out because of the holiday hours. We had the nurse put the scan in a sealed envelope and found out with everyone we love! It was the best moment to share with our loved ones!! We were very surprised to find out we are having a GIRL (she was not shy haha) and so excited for the news!! Don't stress ladies the longer you wait the more developed the baby is and better pictures you will get!

I'm due May 21 and my anatomy scan is tomorrow. I noticed I tend to get nervous/anxious as my appointments approach. However, I've had a lot of testing done and I really don't have any reason to be nervous about anything. So I'm trying to just stay calm and positive b/c it's all out of my control.

I'm due May 28th and don't have a scan scheduled yet. I'm looking forward to it though.
Relax and don't put so much thought into it. The time spent worrying will make the week last longer. Good luck.

@lauranicole91‌ mine wasn't scheduled either-- I had just moved and barely got an appointment with my new OB before Christmas. Luckily I had the appt and she said that since it was around the time for the anatomy scan (I was 19w) she would squeeze me in for the scan that day.

I was nervous before that appt that I wouldn't get mine done in time but the office nurses told me that doctors can order an ultrasound whenever they want (which is what happened to me). Hopefully your doctor will do the same thing for you when you get there!

I'm due 5/26 and I have mine scheduled for 1/8. I'm not nervous and haven't thought about it much. I am looking forward to seeing baby again though! Praying everyone has good outcomes!

I'm due May 29th, and mine is next Wednesday the 7th. I'm more excited than "going crazy". But...this is my third child. With my first, I was more in crazy mode.

I am due 5/31. My a/s isn't until 1/14. I am anxious about potential problems but I am also excited because this is the first appointment that DH will be going to with me. I already had an elective u/s at 16 weeks to find out the sex, so we know its a boy already. Also, I feel better that the tech who did the elective u/s said there was nothing alarming that he could see that he had to notify my doc about.

I'm due May 22nd and I have my fetal echo and anatomy scan on January 12th. I'm ok with waiting because they told us it was a girl at our last appointment (I get monthly ultrasounds due to type 1 diabetes)

I'm due May 25th and I haven't scheduled mine yet. I'll probably get it done sometime in January. I feel super calm about it, maybe the day of the appointment I'll be nervous but I always try to keep a positive mind. Good luck to everyone!

Due May 20th and anatomy scan 1/5. Both of us have less than a week to go. It will fly by. I haven't felt movement due to an anterior placenta but I've used my Doppler a couple times since my last appt to ease my mind.

Due May 22 and my scan is 1/5 and I'm going crazy!!!

I just want to know what our Itty bitty is and how he or she is doing in there! I haven't been feeling much movement but I'm thinking I have an anterior placenta which could be the reason for that... Just keep busy and lots of crafting & reading for the next week for this mama! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Tuesday 6th for me.
I had a private scan at 16 weeks though, found out it's a little boy. The lady said he looked very heathy and had a nice thick cord.
Can't wait to see him again ❤️

I'm due May 20, and my anatomy scan is Jan. 5. I can feel little wiggles every so often, but as the date gets closer, I get waves of anxiety that something will be wrong. Monday cannot come fast enough lol, I just want to see that my baby is growing okay! AND if baby cooperates, we'll get to find out if it's a boy or girl, so that will be super cool too!

I'm re-reading the entire Harry Potter series to keep my mind occupied LOL good luck to you
