they surveyed a bunch of people via facebook and used some fancy statistical software. Here ya go
https://www.fluffloveuniversity.com/senior-year/survey-results-and-data/Also they obviously have a website now and you can see the dirty diaper challenge stuff on there, too.
Aren't you guys glad we have them to tell us how we're doing it wrong?!?

DH asked me for the link so he could read through it sometime when he was bored so he can put it in his files so if he ever teaches stats again he can use it as an example. One of the things he teaches/taught his students is that stats can be misused and made to show what the surveyors want them to show - just like political surveys.

I was thinking of the laundry science/textile care aspect but the sociology of spreading misinformation via social media could be interesting too, especially in light of current events.

type of diapers being washes is also important....cotton flats wash well with most anything....thick, multi layer diapers, especially when the inner layers are mf, are much harder. So the results from one family that uses primarily all flats will be different from a family that uses prmarily fitteds, even if they were washing in the same washer/dryer in an apartment complex and using the same detergent.

Dh said he had to stop reading after the first part of it due to laughing too hard.....and he doesn't care HOW the diapers are cleaned only that they are cleaned.
