Should I freak out that AF hasn't arrive 10 days after provera?

Hi everyone, I hope everyone reading this had a good Christmas.
So the title is pretty self-explanatory...I took provera 10 days ago today and there hasn't been a single sign of AF. No cramps, spotting, pink discharge, nothing. In the past, AF usually comes after like 4 days of taking the pill so I'm pretty concerned. RE didn't say what to do if it didn't work for some reason so I guess that's why I'm consulting you guys. It makes me angry that it's not working because out of everything this is the one thing I had faith would work and now I have to fuck around trying to figure out what went wrong and why it's not working and waste MORE time (sorry, I'm feeling a little bitter about it right now). This might be a dumb question but it being the holidays and all and me having PCOS I haven't eaten good, like at all for the past week so could sugary foods possibly delay a reaction? I'm just trying to go over any possible reason it might now be working. Thanks everyone.
Me: 25 Dh: 25 Married since July, 2011
Diagnosed with PCOS 2010
TTC since December, 2011 (SA is Normal)

3/13: Clomid 100 MG O'd BFN

Stopped treatment because of money issues and began to try naturally again from June-October 2013
Benched until November 2014 - Started seeing RE, discovered that lining was very thin

Also: Changed RE, first appointment on Friday, so treatment is subject to change this month

A similar thing happened to me last month. Usually AF starts 4-5 days after the last Provera pill, this time it took 9 days. It was so frustrating! I would call the RE if you hit 14 days and still nothing.

My RE said to call if AF didn't start with in 14 days of stopping. They may have to increase ether the number or days or how much each day you take. I don't know for sure about the food, but I don't think a couple of days would throw it that far off, I could be mistaken though.

When I first took provera AF would show up 4-5 days after last pill. But a couple of times it did take like 14 days. My RE said not to worry until 14 days after last pill. So I would give it a few more days.

I second and third what PPs have said. It can definitely take up to two weeks. My first time using Provera it took me about 12 days so I wouldn't worry yet. Good luck!

Let us know what they say. I'm curious as to the next step. I know you wouldn't be the first one to not respond to Provera, but it is really weird that you have a history of responding to it rather quickly and all of the sudden your body decides it wants to fuck with you. Definitely keep us in the loop.
Will do. I called this morning and talked to the nurse but have yet to hear back from the doctor. Guess I'll be making another call tomorrow!

So I am going in for a U/S tomorrow morning, and if the uterine lining isn't too thick they're going to go ahead and just start me on letrozole without inducing the period first. FX AF just happens to start today so I can cancel the appointment but fat chance of that! Haha I'll keep everyone updated. :)
