we are Jewish and traditionally name our children for deceased relatives that were important to us...in our case it's an N name and S name (both women and we're having a boy) - alternate letter options are R, E and F...but we really want N or S names.
Current options are: Noah Samuel (or flipped) (Noah is growing on my but so common!) Nathaniel Shay or Nathan or Nate - not a fan but my husband likes.
My son's name is trendy/popular but we didn't realize until after we loved it and decided to use it anyway...
Our last name ends in -en
My 88 year old grandma likes Neil and offered Norman
Ideas??? I've tried baby name sites and the best they offer is Nehemiah, which is not our style.
Please help!
Edit: we will not announce the name until the baby is 8 days old, so we are trying to stay away from asking family opinions - which is why I am asking here...
