Mine is more intention than resolution but I'm working through my shit this year, trying to get my psychological and spiritual house in order. I'm currently seeing two counselors a (personal and marriage) and a breathwork practitioner (New Agey but oddly effective method for working through emotional trauma). And I'm scheduling a free day each month to get out of the city and hike or snowshoe in the Sierra, just me and the dog.
Re: Resolutions for the new year?
Hmmm, mine is more of a to-do list too, for the year -
1. Get into a real exercise routine to get in good shape for babymaking.
2. Make said baby.
3. Get my CCRN at work (certification)
4. Landscape our flower gardens.
5. Potty train DD. Get her into big girl bed. Soak up as much time with her as I can before #3.
2. Take cooking classes, maybe sewing.
3. Continue improving communication with DH.
4. Lose 5lbs.
5. Read a whole book. Since Millie was born, I can't finish a book, probably because I read about 1.5 pages a day.
-be strict about saving and start paying down our credit card debt
-use our gym 3x a week
-read more with DD
-more date nights with DH
