Anyone else experiencing this?! LO was such a great sleeper up until last week when things started going down hill. He would wake in the middle of the night crying (multiple times) and it would take an hour to get him back to bed. I hope this passes soon!
Re: 14.5 Week Old Experiencing Early 4 Month Regression
That article is great but it made me super sad to read it may never go away
Just worried I'm creating bad habits
My H takes him if it's less than an hour, he can rock him to sleep but if it's me then baby wants boobies. If his dad can't get him back to sleep then I will nurse him.
eta, the article also says if baby is really eating well at night then he is probably hungry and my guy gulps it down at motn feedings, so I guess he does need it? Who knows.
I would also feed LO to calm him down. I do it in the dark so he doesn't wake even more. But I'm happy to report this phase has passed! It last about 1.5 weeks so I'm not sure if it was a growth spurt or the early 4 month regression. He finally went back to his regular sleep schedule! I kept to our regular routine of bottle, bath and swaddle but I did move up his bed time the last few days, which helped a lot!!! We moved his bed time up a half hour and it made a huge difference!
So hang in there moms, there is light at the end!
I dont feed him unless its been close to 2 hrs now Im wondering if I should feed him if its been like an hour or so. He isnt eating less during the day, still eats every 2 -3 hrs on average.

Not sure if this would help but we've added a dreamfeed when we go to bed and that seems to at least prolong that initial wake-up...good luck!
