Mine will be 10 wks Wed & he has taken (2) 2-hour naps today (he's in the midst of his 2nd one)....is there a specific time you cut naps off for the night? For example, no naps after 7pm....

Re: Let's talk naps - how old is your LO & how many hrs does he/she nap during the day?
Having said that, here's her rough schedule that I've observed recently. LO is 8 weeks old tomorrow. She's been sleeping 6-7 hours at night usually from 1a-7/8a. Then she'll take her longest nap mid-morning roughly from 9/10a-11a/12pm. After that nap, she's starting taking 2 or 3 short cat naps 30-60 minutes. Evenings have been a little rough as she'll take a bottle, fall asleep in my arms anywhere from 10-60 minutes, have more formula, sleep in my arms, repeat several times until she's out for the night around 1-2a. The evening "cluster feeding" pattern is exhausting.
I don't let her sleep more than 3 hours straight when she takes a nap during the day per Pedi recommendation and it seems to help her.
I'm sure the ladies who posted there would appreciate it if you acknowledged them by returning to continue your conversation there instead of starting a new thread.
Just my two cents...
