Hello all! It feels strange even coming back to the boards here. We had a loss in October at 11 weeks and we are going to try again in January. It's scary but exciting at the same time. I've just had a friend announce an unplanned pregnancy of twins! I feel so shameful for being a bit jealous but I know it will happen for us in due time. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and wish you all the best.

    Welcome to the board.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Don't feel the need to apologize for your feelings with respect to your friend's pregnancy.  It's possible to be happy for someone but still have it feel like a punch in the gut and trigger your own feelings related to your loss.

    Welcome, I'm so sorry for your loss.

    I echo what others have said, don't feel guilty for what you're feeling, it's pretty normal. *hug*
    I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

    Welcome. I am sorry for your loss. That jealousy will fade with time but it can still surprise you. It is ok to feel the way you do. Hugs.

    I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort and support here. 

    As some of the previous posters said, it's totally normal to feel jealous of your friend. I have a friend who is due a month after I would have been, and while I'm happy for her, I'm also very jealous. It's hard when someone else has what you want. Just chalk it up to unfortunate timing, I guess.
