Well there goes today *trigger warning loss mentioned, not mine*

My friends went to the hospital today and delivered their baby girl still born at 25 weeks. I am so heart broken for them! If anything she was the one pregnancy that didn't hurt seeing or hearing about. I don't know what to say or do! All I can do is cry for them, the worst part is I don't even feel like I can offer to be here to talk to them because just thinking about it makes me feel sick and I can barely hold back tears.

Please keep them in your thoughts!

    That is super shitty news. I wouldn't know what to say either, but it's good that she has people like you who care about her during times like these to cry with. You might be one of the few people who don't try to make them feel better, but allow them to grieve.

    Yesterday, someone I know lost their 3 mo unexpectedly. It is a different feeling of heartbreak after having a loss myself. Mine was very different than theirs but I feel so heartbroken for them. I'm so sorry for your friends. :(

    I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's loss. I know it's hard and I'm sure that it stirs up a lot of emotions for you, but the best thing you can do is acknowledge your friend's baby and their loss. When I lost my daughter, some of things that meant the most to me were cards I got where people wrote her name. It's something simple, but it really meant a lot and helped to reinforce that my daughter existed.

    I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine the pain your friend is going through. Like other PP have said, she's lucky to have such a wonderful and caring friend like you. I know it's so hard to see such a good friend in pain.

    Diagnosis: unexplained RPL, unexplained IF.

    Also have hypothyroidism

    Started TTC again 12/2013

     

    IUI#1:Clomid CD 3-7, Trigger'ed CD 12. IUI CD 14. BFN

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    4/23: D&C...starting over again, with a little part of my heart broken off
    5/31: Femara 7.5mg --> cancelled cycle, no follies
    7/14: Femara 5mg + brevelle + menopur + IUI --> converted to IVF, ER 7/28 --> ET cancelled due to severe OHSS.
    9/20/14:  Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP--> EDD 6/6/15 --> MC at 5w3d      
    10/16/14: Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFN
    2/6/15: Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP --> MC at 5w4d
    3/20/16: PGS-tested Frozen Embryo Transfer --> BFP, Living Child born 12/1/15
    6/6/17: Fresh IVF Cycle --> Severe OHSS, 5 PGS-tested embryos frozen
    2/23/18: PGS-tested FET --> BFN
    3/30/18: Cancelled cycle due to lining 4.2mm
    6/21/18: PGS-tested FET --> BFN

    T&Ps to you, your friend and her family. Like PP said, when I lost my son at 22 weeks, it was so great not to have to think about what to eat for dinner. Also, knowing my friends and family were there for me but they gave me my space to grieve, was definitely comforting.
