I don't know about all of you, but I am on serious recovery mode from last week! I think I am about to fall asleep on my keyboard.
I hope that all of you had a great weekend!
ETA: the tagged list had a lot of people on it that hadn't updated in a while. If I accidentally removed you from the list, please let me know! I was pretty tired when I went through it.

We are a group of women striving to live healthier lives, whether that means losing weight, gaining weight, sticking to a specific diet, counting calories, avoiding counting calories, starting to exercise, continuing to exercise or anything in between.
We check in on Mondays and follow up with an accountability on Fridays (our favorite post of the week, because we love encouraging each other and celebrating all our successes!).
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Many of us are using MyFitnessPal to keep track of our eating and our exercise. MFP is a great tool to keep yourself accountable, and because it is set up as a social network site, we can cheer you on there as well as here. If you are using MFP and have not found us yet, let us know so we can friend you!

Re: Healthy Living Check In - 12/29/14
The Good: I sent the rest of the holiday cookies to work with hubster. Yay temptation is out of the house!
The Bad: The holidays were stressful for a multitude of reason...and uh...cookies helped with that.
The Proud: Not much proud going on here. I made a pretty healthy meal plan for the week.
Your Plan: We got the bike trainer and the weight sets for Christmas! We've got the weights set up and the bike trainer is being set up tonight. We are biking the C&O canal towpath in March, so I'm going to be hitting the bike pretty hard starting this week. Food is being significantly cleaned up. I looked at a picture of myself and I didn't look healthy. Like, my skin didn't and I'm pretty sure that is because of how lax I have gotten with "limited processed foods" plan. So that is going to stop for sure! I also picked up Just Dance 2015 after Christmas, so I'm pretty excited to add some of those dances in the exercise. It's fun and doesn't feel like exercise at all!
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? Instead of the 80/20 rule, I really want to follow closer to 90/10. I don't need to feed myself 20% crap. I don't really need to feed myself 10% crap either, but I think it is a realistic goal!

@Menrandes - Congrats on getting rid of the temptation! I have an eggnog cheesecake sitting in the fridge that really needs to disappear!
The Good: Ummm...I worked out 3 days last week.
The Bad: Pretty much everything that I ate in the past week.
The Proud: Nada
Your Plan: Get back into tracking all calories and find my exercise mojo again.
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? Is it sad that I can't come up with anything?

I did go for a walk with my FIL but it was only a mile
There is one good thing... I'm totally antsy to get back home and start working out and eating normal again. I'm kind of excited about it!
God luck this week, ladies

The Bad: Unexpected party yesterday afternoon. I got silly drunk and got laughed at for pulling on a door that needs to be pushed.
The Proud: I cut off time from my 4 miles (4-6 minutes from the times I usually get).
Your Plan: Go to the gym today and see what their schedule is this week for other days to go. Run at least every other morning starting tomorrow. This hangover made this morning an off time until the gym class later today.
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? I want to rethink what I eat again. I am still thinking through options on what to do for that.

My Chart
The Bad: Alcohol. I guess this comes with the time of the year but you can say I have had my fair share.
The Proud: .Not too much specifically to put here right now. Just wait for the new year
Your Plan: I want to continue to not overeat between now and the rest of the year. All our holiday parties are over and we are going out of town for New Years so the temptation should be less. It is so hard for me to turn down party food and sweets.
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? I want to be active 5 days a week. I already take ballet and jazz class on tuesday and wednesday. I was thinking of adding some cardio jogging/walking before or after work for the rest of the week. Any ideas are welcome.
The Bad: MW and I didn't stick to our evening runs primarily because we couldn't leave the boys unsupervised.
The Proud: We are all set to start our evening runs back up tonight and are in process of planning out our weekly meals.
Your Plan: Just keep focused. Since we aren't planning to be out for New Years, I feel like it will be easier for us to stay focused on keeping on track with our eating and exercise goals.
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? Yoga and working more on stretching and flexibility.

BFP #2 12/30/2014 ~ EDD 9/13/2015 Stick bean stick!
The Bad: The cookies they call to me!!!!
The Proud: No weight gain!
Your Plan: Start building in more exercise. I have felt horribly bloated lately, and I hate it.
QOTW: What is one healthy thing you want to do for yourself in the coming New Year? I am going to start meal planning in a more healthy manner. I have actually been looking at eat this much.com anyone know anything about it? I think I will start by printing the pyramid and making sure that my daily meals meet all the requirements (and then cut out the wheat of course).
@Amybunny30 Awesome about C25K!! Keep us updated on that progress. And take care of yourself on Monday. **hugs**
@flyoffeve You've been doing so great with the running! what kind of meal plans are you considering now?
@catvaughn5002 Not overeating when surrounded by massive amounts of food is tricky. I know it's hard to have moderation when you want to try everything. Good for you for your willpower!
@MrsRed09 **hugs** I know what you mean about being comfortable in your own skin. Stick with the running, hopefully taking that time for you will help you be more confident. The only person you need to compare yourself to is you.
@readinglove I'd say getting 3 workouts in was a win as well! Especially if it was a boozy week. I never want to work out if I've overeaten or had too much alcohol.
@sdfonz619 Holiday weeks are so difficult with the weird interruption of routine. Hopefully you will be able to get back on track this week! How did your run go tonight?
@Elliecat17 Those cookies...they have a loud and compelling voice, don't they? But it's awesome that you were able to limit them though!

The Good: I worked out two days so far this week. That's up from 0!
The Bad: I'm still not eating at healthy as I can and it's making me feel like crap. I had an Ige test done and I'm severely intolerant to dairy but it tastes so good. Gotta kick it.
The Proud: Last night DH and I took our spare bedroom and turned it into a workout haven. We're going to start going to the gym together as well. I was pretty happy about this!
