No this one isn't about the kiddos. I am finding it really hard to go to bed at a decent hour since my surgery. My parents are pretty much taking care of the kid's every need, so they are not causing me to stay awake. At 8:30 here and my eyes are watering, Im yawning. I am fighting it like crazy, but I am so sleepy.
So back to the poll. When do you go to bed?

If you sleep at 6.30 pm what time do you wake up? I sleep at different times but overall the max I'll stay in bed is 8 hours. Only on days I am too tired I probably will stay put longer but that's rare. Hell 8 hours is rare for me theses days anyways.
My point being if your total sleep in within the reasonable hours 7-8-9 whatever is typical for you then perhaps it's just a sleep time habit issue. But if you think you are sleeping unusually long then there could be a medical reason and perhaps worth discussing with the dr. I'm not saying it necessarily be a concern as it could just be the surgery but just giving you my perspective.
"Go to bed" is the operative phrase for me... I often pass out on the couch trying to watch something on TV around 9/10, but might wake a few times, and if I wake up after a decent 'nap', it's a while before I can actually fall back to sleep.

Usually 10-11....madam is in bed by 8:30, then we watch an hour or so of TV (usually 1-2 episodes of whatever show(s) or a film), I pump and we make a cup of tea to take to bed. Usually I read for half hour in bed whilst I drink my tea ETA: Em STTN 95% of the time and has since 6 weeks old, and we're up between 7 and 8, depending on the day of the week
LO goes to bed around 8. I always say I'm going to stay up and be productive, but no. I usually throw the bottles in the sink, lay out clothes for the next day, shower, and I'm in bed by 9. Then I always plan on watching a show, and I'm asleep in 5 minutes.
I would totally go to bed at 6:30 if I could. Embrace it.
This.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

Eta DH and I usually talk for a bit once we're in bed so I'm up a little later.
