Hi everyone! My husband and I are excited to announce that we are pregnant with baby #8 and due in February. Surprisingly enough, baby #8 was planned kinda. Our last two were complete shocks but we decided to start trying as soon as we could for #8 and what do you know, we got pregnant right away. We can't seem to agree on a name that we both like. We are looking for suggestions. Oh and we are waiting to find out the sex until the baby is here. Also, any other big families out there?
Congrats! That's awesome. We love the name Breaker for a boy.

I would suggest using the Baby name tool that The Bump has. I add any names I like to it, then print it out for DH. He crosses off the ones he doesn't like. It really helps us come up with ideas. The name database they have is huge.
I'm pregnant with our fifth which makes us a little larger family than the norm. Ours are:
Christopher Shannon Catherine Quinn Joseph Sullivan and Victoria Maren.
I think our next might be either Charles Sean or Diane Cassidy.
We always use a family name for the first name and then, since we have an Irish heritage, Irish middle names. We call our kids by their middle names.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
We used ancestry(dot)com to research family names. DS's name is William, which isn't terribly creative, but we both have pretty awesome family stories behind the name. We also found some less-common names which we love and may use in the future. Then there were some pretty weird ones too.
Congrats!! I think you need a medal just for birthing 8 children! That's amazing to me. I'm pregnant with our surprise number 3 and I feel overwhelmed already!! We haven't decided on names yet and DH never likes anything that I like.
I loved Bennett or Emmett for a boy.. he hates them. I loved Caleb. he hates it. I loved Abigail but he hates it. I liked Noelle but he hates it. I really like Jillian or Jill or Jilly for short but he hates it. It's awful! His favorite name is Rory and I don't like Rory at all.
Cameron, Benjamin and Wesley strike me as good fits for your list.
On the girl side, Katherine (despite the popularity), Julia, Sophia, Ellen, Angela, Alexandra... A bit conservative but your list so far strikes me as such - and I like all the names on it! I especially like Danika!
