Baby girl will be two weeks old tomorrow (that went by so fast!!). The holidays meant a lot of visitors and traveling to see relatives. Now that things are back to "normal" my day is filled with Netflix marathons, constant laundry, tv, cleaning, more tv and snacking.
I feel so lazy, like I should be running around town, keeping busy with her... then I remember how little and vulnerable she is.
So does anyone else have tv guilt? Feeling bad about just being lazy all day?
What does your life with your newborn look like?

I totally agree, even with no pph here. I'm not going to try to get anything done except keep LO alive, take a zillion pictures of her and get as much sleep as possible. I've always loved my downtime at home and it's completely justified now!
bfp#4 3/19/2014 edd 12/1/2014 please let this be the one!
beta @ 5w0d = 12,026! u/s 4/22/14 @ 8w1d it's twins!
Wondering the same thing. I tried the k'tan but she cried so I'll try again later. I just keep trying to put her in the bassinet until she cries, then comfort her and try again. Most times she just a ends up wanting to eat.
I have a baby k'tan as well and it has not been a success so far- might try out a moby instead.

At the 6 week mark I plan on gradually increasing my productivity and exercising so I can have an easy transition back to work.
We also have both grandmothers helping us with various things. MIL loves to play with DS while my mom is coming over to help clean and do laundry.
Tomorrow will be our 1 week anniversary with DD and I still haven't informed anyone at work that I have had her. With all of the issues that we have been having, I have been too sleep deprived to do this.
