Hello Ladies, New To This Board

After lurking and checking out a lot of the threads on this board I have decided to join in. I haven't quite been able to find the right words to say so I'm going to just go ahead and introduce myself and a little bit about me. The day after my birthday on 11/26 I found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend and I had decided in June that we were going to stop preventing. This was my first pregnancy, we were so excited.

Some bleeding and cramping led to my doctor ordering a blood test and ultrasound. 3 Blood tests later we found that while my hcg levels were rising, they were not doubling as the doctor would have liked to see. I was forewarned that within the week I would more than likely have a miscarriage. We were thinking I was around 6 weeks, but I didn't know for sure because the ultrasound did not show anything and I don't have regular periods. Saturday (our anniversary) we wound up in the ER for over 4 hours and I had in fact began to miscarry. I had tried to remain positive, but wanted to be realistic as well. I have to go back in 2 weeks for a follow up, and am hoping to get some information on when we can start trying again. I have found the bump helps me to work through things as I see other women who have had different things happen as well. I hope you guys will have me! I will do my best to contribute as much as I can.
