Name your price

How much would you pay to have a baby that sleeps 12 hours per night, no fuss? Let's say at least until 12 months of age and no concerns about health or weight gain.

I wanted to post a poll but I don't see how so just name your price.

I would say $5000.

Re: Name your price

  • What is the alternative? The baby you have now? I can handle dd waking up once in the MOTN so I would probably only pay $50. I guess the risk is what is coming with any future sleep regressions...but DD never seems to get phased by growth spurts or wonder week "leaps" so I don't know if her regressions will even be that bad.

  • I'm pretty broke right now, thanks to the last few weeks of my maternity leave being unpaid. But I'd be willing to rack up a little credit card debt, as long as it guaranteed that I would also sleep through the night. My big problem is getting back to sleep after I put him back down.

I'm good with the night but can someone make my baby stop the non stop crying when he is awake? It is breaking my heart

Eta...I'd pay at least $2000 for a happier baby.
  • Well, my big dirty secret is that we've had someone helping us at night for almost 8 weeks now.  Not every night, but 3-4 nights a week and we've carved out enough for a few more weeks with the hope that babester will sttn before DH has to go away for almost 6 weeks straight.  So...our answer is that we'd obviously pay a lot for her to sleep.  Of course...she's still going to have sleep regressions from teething, colds, growth spurts, etc.  Being that we're older, DH has had some major health issues, and we've BTDT by ourselves with our 10 and 12 year-olds...it was worth a whole lot to us.

  • @slsl509‌ - earning free nights by hosting a party. Bwah.
  • Can I pay for my toddler to sleep instead? He's worse for sleeping than my 9 week old.

Same here! I would do almost anything to get my toddler to STTN.
