Pressure to supplement

MIL always makes comments about how I need to pump so she can watch the baby for me. I HATE pumping, I've had a little bit of supply issues so I don't get much anyway, and I'm a stay at home mom so I have no reason to need to pump so far. DD is only 8 weeks old and I'm not ready to leave her with anyone yet. MIL even texted me one night telling me to just buy formula so she can babysit. Wth?! She is sooo pushy about supplementing. "Why don't you supplement? Are you against it? My kids did just fine supplementing". That's what she always says.
Sorry for the rant! I've been so overwhelmed with getting breastfeeding to work I just don't need people trying to ruin it for me.

    You know you are doing what you feel ia best, so you just keep fighting the good fight because thats what mommies do! And ask her nicely to drop it lol.

    I'm sorry you are getting pressure from her! I would just let her know that you have been working hard at making bf'ing work and don't want to hurt your supply by supplementing when it's not absolutely necessary.

    She doesn't realize the more she pushes me the less likely I am to let her watch the baby anytime soon lol. I know I don't have to listen to her I just needed to vent.

    I'd tell her to back off, she has no right to tell you how to raise your child. How does your H feel about it? Maybe he should talk to her.
