I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and just found out that my baby girl is breech. This is my first baby. Hoping to schedule a version rather than a c section. Curious as to how anyone else's versions went/ experience.
I had a successful version at 37 weeks. I'm 39 weeks and 2 days and he's still head down . It was very painful but short and definitely worth it. Try searching it on here, I wrote out my experience. I'm on my tablet so I can't
@tripletoe, that makes me happy to hear! I have one booked for Jan.6th and I'm hoping it will be successful! My little one has been transverse at our last two ultrasounds.

With the baby being transverse, are you experiencing any increased pain in your pelvis?
Wishful thinking.... My baby was traverse at 37 weeks. We scheduled the procedure to turn the baby into the correct position. We did the hours of hospital prep and the doctor showed up to get the party started. Before she could sstart the procedure, she said that she thinks the baby had turned on its own. She confirmed it with an ultrasound. I pray you have the same experience as me. All things are possible.
That would be wonderful!! I would love this baby to move head down on it's own. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday to see where it's laying and then a week later they will try to turn it if needed.
I also had a successful one at 37 weeks 3 days. You should schedule it ASAP the sooner the higher chance of success. Also, you can try a chiropractor but find one that specializes in it. As Tripletoe said it's painful but quick and well worth it to try in my opinion. They do monitor the baby during and after. Good luck!
Had my version this afternoon and it was successful! It wasn't as painful as I though. More so just uncomfortable pressure. It took all of maybe 3-4 minutes.
I found out today my baby was breech (39 weeks 1 day) and tried a version this evening...... no luck, but I also have an small torso (I am only 5'2") and there just wasn't enough room. Got my c-section scheduled for my due date (1/5/15) since the l&d ward was booked the next few days and wouldn't schedule over the weekend.
