Clear blue Advanced Ovulation Tests

Have others gotten the 'high' results before the peak? I went from no smiley to peak in less than 12 hours and my wondfo was not positive. I tested in the afternoon when I got the negative so maybe that's why I missed it? Just hoping I didn't pay more for these freaking things if they don't truly give the high readings they say and maybe it's just user error...

BFP #1- 4/2011; DD Brynn born 12/2011

BFP #2- 7/13; EDD- 4/2/14; Lost DS at 20 weeks (11/16/13) due to cord accident

BFP #3- 3/14; EDD- 11/28/14; Lost DD at 15 weeks (6/7/14)- cause unknown

    I've never used them, but the ladies on TTC>35 have also had trouble with them. I think it takes several months to "learn" you.

    Well that's annoying. I realized that I did test that morning too so definitely not user error in missing the high fertility time. Very frustrating though

    You can't test twice a day with those and you have to use FMU. It actually looks at your previous reading to determine if you are surging. By testing twice in one day, you could cause it to think you had a surge when you did not because it is not looking for a certain value of LH like wondfos do - it is looking for a change in your own LH levels.

    @buggirl72‌ - aahhhh- that makes sense. I will be better next cycle and just use my wondfos for my two-a-day habit. Thank you!

    Stick to the regular digital ones. The advanced with the 4 days just aren't as good and they're confusing. The nurse at my RE advised the regular digital ones too

    Diagnosis: unexplained RPL, unexplained IF.

    Also have hypothyroidism

    Started TTC again 12/2013

     

    IUI#1:Clomid CD 3-7, Trigger'ed CD 12. IUI CD 14. BFN

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    Hi, just wanted to chime in. Not a fan of the CB Advanced sticks. I used them before I purchased the CBEFM and never got decent readings. One time I tested on two separate readers, got a solid smiley face on one and a blank on the other. I was not happy, especially considering how expensive they are. Sorry, they might work for you but I'm still angry about my experience with them!

    These ones always confused me too when I tried to use them.  I've stuck with the non-digital first response ones and like them much better.  Not much help with your current issue though sorry :(  Hopefully you get it straightened out.
