Happy day after Christmas ladies!!! Hope you are all doing well. I noticed no one was on yesterday so figured I would post the check in today!
I'm thinking about adding some more structure to the check in. Nothing as wonderful as the weekly 3T one Ketchup does. But what would you want it to include?
How are you feeling? How far along are you? How was your Christmas?

**Siggy warning, BFP, threatened pregnancy mentioned...also long post lol**
Hi ladies! I miss you all so much. I'm constantly lurking and checking in to see how everyone is doing. Congrats on all of the BFPs lately!! I've been very "inactive" on the bump since I announced my BFP. I have yet to intro on PAIF or my birth month club. However, I'll be doing that tonight.
I'm currently 7 weeks 1 day. These past few weeks have been so stressful and worry filled. I've had instances of spotting, moderate cramping, and even a day of full out bright red blood with a small clot. Hence, why I've had three ultrasounds so far. Today's ultrasound has given me more hope though. The heart beat was strong at 150 and everything was measuring good.
My RE has "released" me prior to my first appointment with him. His office was "annoyed" I went to my OB/GYN when I saw the spotting and bright red blood and had heavy cramping. My RE kept telling me to take the day off and put my legs up. I was worried for my health and safety that I called my OB/GYN when I felt I wasn't being taken seriously. I remember the motto here "the RE is good for getting you pregnant and the OB/GYN is good at keeping you pregnant". Needless to say, my OB/GYN has been monitoring me now. She is still considering me a "threatened pregnancy" but so far (as of today) everything is looking good (fingers crossed please)!!
Christmas was good with me. I hope it was good for everyone else. It's super hard keeping this pregnancy a secret especially when I saw all of my family and DH's family at Christmas. My DH, sister, best friend, and one co-worker know and that's it. I'm debating telling my mom but she is so emotional that I'm not sure I want her stress and worrying to impact what I'm going through at this point. My next ultrasound and appointment is January 9 (I'll be 9 weeks 1 day) so fingers crossed all stays well until then and all goes well then.
I'll be cheering and rooting for you all. Sending lots of positive vibes your way

My first grad check in! whoo hoo! 4w6d today! Miss yall.. been lurking a lot. I have decided that this board is way better than any BMB board!!
Only update I have is that my 2nd beta came in good at 1208, almost double within 48 hours. Feeling okay - nauseous at night mostly, but no actual sickness, yet... and i'm utterly exhausted. I went to sleep last night at 6pm and woke up at 2am...and was actually able to fall asleep again until 630 am this morning.
We told our immediate families on Christmas with Christmas cards address to grandparents, and aunts/uncles. It took them a little bit to catch on at first, because they thought they were cards from their granddogs!! Until they read "Baby B--- coming late August 2015!" We got a couple tears, a lot of screams, and lots of hugs. Its super hard keeping it a secret from the rest of the family and coworkers, some of whom know about my IF issues. I've decided that I at least have to wait until after my first US, which won't be until my 7th week.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Soooo damned thrilled to see new Grads! Congrats, ladies!!!!!!!!!! And big squishy hugs to everyone who is still hoping for a BFP.
I'm hanging in there. Admittedly, I didn't post yet on this thread because I was hoping to have an outside baby to AW. I'm 37w4d today, and I've been teased with contractions for several weeks now and was at >2cm dilated and 50% effaced at my appointment last Monday, but since then the cramping has been increasing in frequency and intensity.
Last night we almost went to L&D when I was having bad period-like cramping that wrapped around to my back which a bath wouldn't abate. I was up most of the night with bad cramps that came in an ebb and flow but weren't easy to time and not so intense or frequent that I thought it was worth waking DH up to go to L&D.
I woke up still having cramps, so we got the bags fully packed, and I called the doctor - she basically told me it's textbook "early labor" and can last hours or days or weeks before it becomes the real deal, and not to bother calling again, just show up when it's time. So we took a 3 mile walk, which definitely got the contractions going, but they stalled out as soon as we got home and I sat on my yoga ball. Right now still feeling period-like cramping but nothing that's hard to breathe or talk through anymore. So no baby tonight! Maybe tomorrow? Hopefully within the next week!!!
Christmas was good. We didn't do much, we didn't go anywhere, and we didn't have any visitors. We didn't spend much on each other, either, but we were both thrilled with the gifts. I got DH an espresso machine and he got me a jig saw and blades. I was joking around that we switched the stereotype - I got my husband a kitchen appliance and he got his wife a power tool. Love my marriage
