Favorite tradition: Going out for a walk to see Christmas lights
Best gift ever received: I've actually gotten a lot of great gifts because most people in our families ask for a wish list of things we want. The one I remember right now is the iPod that DH got me years ago- this was when they were new and expensive. I wasn't expecting anything like that so it was a big surprise.
Worst gift ever received: DH's grandparents often give me a shirt that either doesn't fit or is totally NMS.
Favorite Christmas song: O Holy Night
White or colored lights: I think white lights look classier, but I always have colored lights on the tree for some reason.
Favorite Christmas movie/show: Elf. And it's just not Christmas without watching A Charlie Brown Christmas on TV.

Favorite tradition: Exchanging gifts with my husband christmas eve before we do santa. We pop open some wine and put a christmas movie on.
Best gift ever received: My Fender strat when I was 14. I was sooooo excited. I still play guitar just not as much. Need to make more time for my own hobbies.
Worst gift ever received: My husband's grandmother (bless her) would always give us free items she received in the mail from her magazine subscriptions. It was all really random stuff. Never said anything because the lady was 97 years old. She was one bad ass bitch.
Favorite Christmas song: Jingle bells or Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
White or colored lights: Colored. Although we did both this year.
Favorite Christmas movie/show: National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Muppet Christmas Carol and Elf.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
Favorite treat: The Chocolate Orange. Love it.
Favorite tradition: I have two: going to see the Nutcracker (especially in SF) and visiting the Oakland Temple to see the Christmas lights. Neither of which happened this year.
Best gift ever received: It's so subjective by age! I will say, I love my laptop DH got for me four years ago, and the Ugg boots he got me three years ago. I love things that I can use for a long time.

Worst gift ever received: My MIL gives the absolute worst gifts imaginable. One year she gave me body butter that was grass scented. Not kidding. (She will be here soon, FYI...

White or colored lights: I like both, but I think colored lights are more fun. I love white-and-blue lights.
Favorite Christmas movie/show: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964 version)
@Sagen - My mom would flip out if we left our rooms before she was out of the shower and dressed, with hair and makeup done. We never opened presents earlier than 7:30. To this day, if we do Christmas at their house, we still aren't allowed to leave our rooms until she does!

Favorite tradition: Santa. Dh and I always watch The Godfather too. I love it, he doesn't, and since it has a Christmas scene, I tell him it is a Christmas movie and make him watch it
Best gift ever received: dh got a painting I had framed last year to surprise me. I found two paintings by an artist I love at an antique mall, in really crappy un-matted frames. We did the one and he surprised me a few years later by doing the other. He initially said he didn't want them both in the living room, they are not his style
Worst gift ever received: hmmmmmm, this is hard. I once got a really ugly wool sweater.
Favorite Christmas song: the Christmas song, by Nat King Cole
White or colored lights: I love both. We do colored because the kids, but white are more classy.
Favorite Christmas movie/show. There are soooo many. Its a wonderful life and White Christmas, Garfield's Christmas. The Santa Claus. I could go on.
Eta, I thought of a worse gift. Dhs gma got me an ornament the first ESR we were together. It is a mother holding a baby. She thought it was Mary and Jesus, but it s totally a baby's first Christmas ornament.

Worst gift: I can't remember any one particular bad gift. There have been some "eh they tried" moments especially when I was a teen but nothing horrible.

I like all lights but a tree with just plain white lights and nothing else just makes me feel like I'm in a hotel, not in a good way... our tree has red and white lights so I like white-it just has to have another color in there too. I really love the old bubble lights. I've seen a few moden lights done in the old styles that I want to splurge on one day! There are some great decorative lights out there nowadays.
Movie: holiday inn, trapped in paradise, a Muppet family Christmas, the year without a Santa Claus and Scrooge ( the musical)
Favorite tradition: New PJs on Xmas Eve
Best gift ever received: I don't even know! I loved the year we got a trampoline. That was pretty baller.
Worst gift ever received: Basically everything my in laws have ever given me. They have the weirdest taste.
