    @TRexsMum You guys are so close!! & Yah! for almost being done with work!! 
    Week/Fruit:
    39 Weeks / Watermelon  (this caused me a mild bout of anxiety as I thought about Labor & Delivery this morning. haha. Like Oh, Shit! I still have to get her out of me!) 
    How are you feeling?
    Incredibly annoyed. I had contractions and back pain all day yesterday and had some contractions that woke me up early this morning. So much so that  I called out of work this morning. I thought maybe this was going to be it but it looks like little girl has other plans as they've kind of petered out. I'm trying to stay calm but I'm sooo impatient. I just want to meet her already. 
    Appointments/Updates?
    Had an appt this past Tuesday. NP said that my fundal height was measuring smaller than last week so I had a growth scan on Christmas Eve. Baby girl looks great and is measuring right on track. So next appt is on Tuesday. 
    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently?
    My mom came by on Christmas and brought me another sleeper gown and a cute denim jacket for baby when she's bigger. 
    Rants/Raves:
    The waiting game is killing me. I feel like I need to clean my entire house and do 5 bijillion things but I can't get my husband up and motivated to do things!! I'm going nuts!!
    GTKY:  In Honor of all the new Christmas releases,  What was the last movie that you went to? Are you looking forward to seeing any in the near future?
    The last movie I saw was The Best of Me (Nicholas Sparks). I've heard really good things about Unbroken that was just released so maybe we'll see that even though it's not my typical movie MO. We don't really go to the movies that often though....

    38 weeks/pumkin. The size freaks me out too!

    How am I feeling: anxious for baby to come out. My husband and I were very impatient over Christmas, we were hoping Josh would come while he is home on break from work. Last Saturday was my last day of working as a nanny until after our baby Josh is at least a few months old. I'm not used to having so much free time and don't want to sit around bored several weeks waiting for Josh to be born.

    Appointments/Updates: baby dropped. At my 37 week appointment on Monday my Midwife said I was 75% effaced, 1.5 cm dilated and bay Josh is in the -1.station. She predicted he will be born before the end of the year. At my previous appointment a different midwife in their group said nabies are usually born within a week of dropping. However, I've on here that many people say it could be another 2 to 4 weeks...

    Have we bought or received anything for baby recently?: yes, my parents got us an activity mat and changing table for Christmas. We bought a baby monitor, miracle swaddling blanket, 2 wubbanub pacifers, baby k'tan carrier, white noise machine with Amazon gift cards we received for Christmas. First year as a married couple and we only bought gifts for our baby (not each other).

    Rants/Raves: we've discovered 3 little brown mice running around in our apartment since Christmas (1 mouse per day). Our 2 cats apparently are to domesticated to be good hunters. Hopefully, they will all be gone before Josh is here.

    Last movie we saw was Hunger Games Catching Fire. I really liked it. We don't go to the movies often. We've been told going to the movies is a good distraction to take our minds off waiting for baby, but I'm not interested in any of the current movies that are out.

    Appointments/Updates? Baby Boy will be arriving via c-section on Tues December 30!

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? He got a few little things for Christmas but we had everything we needed

    Week/Fruit: 38/pumpkin 
    How are you feeling? Still have a cold, so miserable. 
    Appointments/Updates? Last week I was 2cms and 70% effaced. I go back on Wednesday but not sure if I'll be checked again.
    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? We've finished up our registry and he got a few outfits for Christmas. 
    Rave: We bought a new recliner with Christmas money. It's so comfy and I can't wait to snuggle with baby boy in it. 
    GTKY: In Honor of all the new Christmas releases, What was the last movie that you went to? Are you looking forward to seeing any in the near future?
    Last movie I saw in a theater was Gone Girl. We really want to go see American Sniper but I hate having to spend all that money at a theater.

    Week/Fruit:  37/Winter Melon

    How are you feeling?  Feeling something the last couple days- backaches, contractions, tightness & pressure.  Maybe all related to exhaustion from the holidays, too.

    Appointments/Updates?  Last Monday's appointment showed I was not dilated yet, but cervix thinned out and baby had dropped and was head down.  Had the GBS test, will find out results this Monday

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? We haven't bought anything, but baby received a few things as christmas presents (mainly clothes).

    Rants/Raves:  So thankful to have such a great family (mine & in-laws) to spend the holidays with!

     Last movie I saw in the theaters was The Hunger Games Mockingjay.  I was solo uncomfortable the whole time, sitting in the theater seats for 2 1/2 hours.  Made me decide I will definitely not go to see another movie while still pregnant!

    I've been hit or miss with doing this, but here goes.

    38 weeks - pumpkin

    I'm actually feeling pretty good which is shocking the heck out of me. I'm not miserable at all. The only discomfort I'm feeling is soreness in the crotch area

    Edited to say screw it!!!! I had an entire response typed up. And adding the stupid smiley caused none of it to be posted. Sorry ladies. Maybe next week.
