Anyone else not sick?

I am not asking this to brag and I don't want to be sick. I have a phobia of throwing up, but I'm kinda worried that I'm not sick. I was queasy one night, but other than that I haven't had morning sickness. I've been exhausted, sore breasts, super hungry and some cramping. Anyone else not experiencing sickness? I just worry something may be wrong.

Re: Anyone else not sick?

  • I'm not! THANK THE LORD!

  • I'm not either. I'll get a little queasy sometimes but not sick yet. It makes me nervous too, but I just try to stay positive and be grateful.

  • The problem is most people on there HAVE symptoms.
  • Exactly which is why I started this post lol. It makes me feel better that some people are on the same boat!
  • I haven't been sick either. My mom never was with me or my sister either.
  • You're just one of the lucky ones! I was lucky too with my first pregnancy. I only got a little nauseated when waking up but took my time getting out of bed and was fine.
  • I've been a little nauseous, but not to the point of throwing up and not to the point of losing my appetite! This is my first pregnancy, so I feel lucky to be avoiding the puking (8 weeks today) but also nervous because I haven't heard a heartbeat yet!
  • I am 7 weeks today and exactly the same. I have been worried that something is wrong because I have no MS. Boobs feel like they could have explosives in them but just tonight seems worse than most nights. Dull pelvic ache from time to time that I barely notice. Next doc appointment jan 7th so we will see. I'm never lucky though so I'm not sure what to think. Glad some of you can relate though.
  • I literally have had the exact same things as you diana205!! No morning sickness here and I'm just about at 7 weeks. Feeling a little blessed :)
  • I'm only 18 and I'm also worried because I've got to the doctors three times and each time of course a positive, but I don't feel sick either. I don't feel any differently than I always have. It's weird and I'm worried. Doea it mean anything??
  • I thankfully have not had morning sickness yet. Sore breasts, hunger, bloating, fatigue but no sickness- and I am ok with that, lol. I think I read that about 20

  • % don't get it^

  • So I will be approximately 9 weeks tomorrow and my first really bad round of nausea and MS came this afternoon. I thought I was getting a stomach bug, but when a sip of cappuccino brought instant relief, I knew immediately. I don't know how far along you are, but maybe it just hasn't hit you yet or it's not going to at all? best of luck!
  • Nothing to worry about! But he gratful, i cant keep anything down:(
  • You're not alone in worrying. People have this crazy belief that if you're not experiencing all the pregnancy symptoms that something is wrong. And we all know that's not true. With my son I got sick maybe twice. But other than that I had no morning sickness. Now baby 2 I'm 7 weeks 5 days and I've definitely experienced morning sickness with this one. Just seeing or smelling food makes me want to throw up some days and other days I'm fine. My son came out perfectly healthy so no symptoms definitely doesn't mean anything when it comes to the health of the baby/pregnancy.
  • 9 weeks today and no morning sickness. Having cold like symptoms and really tired. I have had sore boobs off and on which worried me but it all worries me. Tried for 4 years to get here and this is my first pregnancy. I have recently developed super dry skin on my face which I read was a symptom. I just keep trying to stay positive. I hope when week 12 rolls around I am more calm.
  • Me neither no morning sickness yet, let me not speak to soon, but im just having queasy and aches so your not alone
  • Play nice? I didn't ignore the other threads, I just didn't see them. Sorry for committing a crime here. No need to be rude. It wasn't my intention to piss people off to ask a question I haven't seen before. It has nothing to do with common sense. God bless you all.

I'm with @diana205 - I didn't see the other threads and was wonder the same thing she was. The way some people write on these boards has really upset me, I thought this was a place where we could come together for support and ask questions not get attacked and torn down.

On another note, I'm glad to see some people are experiencing what I'm experiencing, sounds like it's normal. I've had sore boobs, on and off nausea, oily skin, constipation, and bloating. I'm 5 weeks 4 days today.
  • I didn’t know it was such a serious offense. I mean jeez who really cares that much to write defensive "you are so wrong for asking a question" posts. There really isn't a point, most of are scared and worried to death, it would be nice if people would just take a breath before jumping all over someone.
  • Yeah, the other app I use has a "community" and the people there are not that rude. I'm surprised to see such hostility here. It's a high school environment. Seniors against freshmen apparently lol
  • Which app is that one Diana?

Most of the people on here are very supportive and nice. There will always be the queen bee types who think it's their duty to correct grammar and boss people around, and they seem to post a lot. Generally they become very apparent and you can just ignore them or, better yet, block their posts. I chalk it up to someone being unhappy in life. No normal person feels the need to be bitchy to strangers. (Although, admittedly, I will get snarky over pure ignorance that can be dangerous.)

I wouldn't give up on these forums just yet. I formed an amazing bond with some of the December 2012 girls (my son's BMB) and we have a private FB group that is still going strong. They're among my closest friends now. Anyway, just some encouragement!

Thank you so much. It's so nice to see some kindness and charity around here. Well said! God bless

It must suck to be this angry. I feel sorry for you guys. @diana205 I will go check out that app, don't really want to deal with a bunch of thread high school drama.
  • ... so no one is going to listen to my well-reasoned and painstakingly written post? Awesome. So glad I bothered.
    I did...

  • This is some serious stuff
  • I've been looking around everyday. People are posting constantly. Threads get shifted around. I'm sorry I don't go through every single page and every single post before asking a question. All I'm saying is the hormones kicked in yesterday, I got nervous and asked a question I hadn't seen. Again, threads get shifted around and I didn't see it. The last thing I needed or expected was for people to jump down my throat. I don't expect things to be puppies and rainbows around here. We are all scared and nervous whether it's your first time or not. It's my first time and I'm just looking for support just like everyone else. Thank you. No need to start a war.

You don't need to look at every post on every single page. That's what the search box and the daily threads are for.

  • 7wks too no ms. Just exhaustion. My mom told me when she was pregnant with me she never had ms. I'm hoping I'll be as lucky as that.
