Naked potty training

We are starting today! So far it's been 3 hours - he's peed on the potty twice and pooped on the potty! I'm so proud, lol. So far no accidents but I'll keep you all updated. We plan to be naked today, try underwear tomorrow and then clothes on Monday. I'm home next week so we have some flexibility if he needs to go back naked a day or two. There's nothing quite as adorable as a little naked boy playing at his toy kitchen! Haha.

ETA: Oh my gosh I'm dying here with my naked baby. He's peed and pooped on the potty but then had an accident. He had another accident but then was sitting on the floor and a little drop came out - he shook his finger and said no no to his penis and ran to the potty and peed, lol. Now when he has to go he says no no to the places he had accidents and runs to the bathroom! He is so hilarious!

Has anyone done this before with their other kiddos? If so, how did it go?

    That's awesome! I haven't tried yet, but plan to soon (when I'm home next month). Keep us posted.

    We are going to try it starting on Tuesday.  She now sometimes uses the potty but I'm pretty sure she just does it accidentally because I know it's about time for her to go and so I put her on it and read to her so she'll stay put.  We're doing the whole naked and put her on the potty every time thing but I'm really not sure she'll get it.

    @brachysira‌ the only reason we are doing it is that he's been ready. He tells us all the time that he either has to or already has peed/pooped. I think it helps kids that don't do that connect the words with the action. For him it's more about telling me he has to go before he does and not just being lazy and peeing in his diaper!

    Well, she is probably not ready, but if we're going to do the 3 day naked thing, we have to do it now because DH is off and it will definitely take 2 of us with our 3 month old to entertain too.  If it doesn't take, I don't care.  We'll try again in the summer.

    DS is fully potty trained when he's naked. When he's naked he will run to the potty every time and is completely accident free. The problem is as soon as he's got a diaper on he will go in his diaper and be quiet about it. I try and remind him if he needs to go to tell me but he doesn't. What we're doing is if we catch him pooping or about to poop we rush him to the potty and get him to go there because "that's where poo goes". I'm so tired of changing toddler poopy diapers. If DS poops or pees on the potty we give him huge praise and a sticker. Also if he wants to we let him wear pull-ups (his "big boy underwear".) 

    I think he's just not quite ready so we're not putting any pressure on him or ourselves. I think we'll just keep going at it slowly and follow his lead.
