Anyone else? Sleep problems.

I lay my daughter down for bed at 9 pm and she fights it screaming crying until usually about midnight. She stopped taking pacifiers at about 3 months I've tried to give them to her recently because I thought maybe that would help get her to sleep but it didn't work. because nothing else was working. Any advice? :)
Edit: missed words. Sorry I'm tired.

  • We have recently been having a difficult time too. I think having the least amount of stimulation when DD is starting to get tired is key. I am trying to create more of a routine too...read in a dimly lit room, bottle, and then bed. But teething is also a factor for us too.

  • 9pm sounds late. My DD goes to bed at 7:30. Can you try earlier?

  • Is this a new problem or has she always been hard to put down? Just wondering how long it's been like this.

What do you do to soothe her when she's crying/fighting sleep for 3 hours?

Also do you have a consistent routine like bath, jammies, book, bed?

  • I have a routine.. bath bottle book and cuddles than bed. But the bed part really isn't working great. She has been doing this for a few weeks. She has 4 teeth on the top and 3 on the bottom. Haven't seen any else coming thru. She has been off her pacifier since 3 months old but tried to give it to her recently again because I was thinking I've tried every thing I could think of. I'm going to try an earlier bedtime that just never crossed my mind because I thought 9 isn't working so maybe it's too early. Lol
Thanks for the advice now to see how this goes tonight.
  • I'm trying to get her off the bottle she drinks out of a sippy or my glass during the day. Bottle at night. I know she's supposed to be off of it soon. That's the next battle! :)
