  • If you know they are Braxton Hicks, then why ask the question? Braxton Hicks implies false contractions, therefore, nothing to worry about.
  • Mine usually do hurt a little. Like gas pains almost.I'm a FTM and I just go with the advice that you will definitely know when you're having contractions. Just go with that advice from mom's who've been there done that. Keeps you from worrying about things that don't need to be worried about. And like PP said Google or if it will calm your mind give your OB a call or L&D if they're closed.

    Just make sure they're not becoming consistent or the pain gets worse. Usually braxton hicks go away when you move around.
