Pelvic Rest - how long?

Anyone else on pelvic rest due to spotting? Did your dr tell you how long you'd have to be on PR? Mine hasn't told me but its been over a month and we're going kind of nuts....

    I would call the office and ask if they didn't give you a set limit. That would drive me nuts too!

    depends on the cause of the bleeding. With my son I had placenta previa and was on pelvic rest until 18week and some days when I had my anatomy scan and they confirmed the placenta moved off my cervix.

    My doctor said until there is 48 hours of no bleeding at all.

    I was on PR for the first 8 weeks of pregnancy and oh, did I miss my DH ;-) all good now, but not too much desire :-/

          Me- 28, DH- 32 ----> together six years, married June 2012
    TTC ---> since the wedding night
    Initial diagnosis of PCOS, currently labeled as unexplained infertility
    Clomid and trigger shot regimen
    BFP 12/20/13, EDD 8/25/2014, baby got his wings at 11 weeks and 3 days.
    IVF - 2 day6 frozen embryos transferred 11/5/14, 9 frozen babies
    BFP 11/9/14, EDD 7/24/2015

    I'm on pelvic rest until the bleeding stops. I'm getting an ultra sound done once a week from here on out until the bleeding stops or gets worst. Its hard not knowing but resting is all you can really do.

    My SCH is GROWING instead of going away... and I'm still spotting. So here we are. Bed rest and pelvic rest. If your spitting has stopped, you're probably safe, but call the office to double check. Just be aware, that sex can cause some spotting within 24hrs.

    I am 13weeks 4days and have been on pelvic rest since pregnancy was confirmed at 5 weeks 4 days......ugh! I feel ya! Im just hoping that at our next visit we can get the green light that my SCH is healed.

    I was on PR with DD but it had to do with BV if I remember correctly, I was told to rest until I'd finished my antibiotics. No PR recommended for the BV this time though (probably because I took pills instead of gel). I'd call the doc to see when you can go back to normal "pelvic activities" ;)

    Doctor never said anything to me abou it. I had 3 weeks of bleeding so once that went away for 48hrs we went for it. I like to double check with the doppler after just because I'm crazy like that.
