I do well visits and keep up with routine medical care, but I do not call my doctor or make appointments for symptoms that are not major.
Major=Obvious Pain, Failure to thrive/gain weight, temp over 101, rash for a few days

Same here. Especially since we now have a $25 copay for sick visits (we didn't have any when DS1 was an infant). DH will say to call the doctor when the baby has sniffles and a cough and I'm like, "For them to tell me he has a cold and keep doing everything I'm already doing?" If I suspected an ear infection or anything worse, I'd take him in, but not for a little cold.
I don't have much of a confession except that I've been doing Weight Watchers and I'm already planning on not tracking points next week. In addition to all the Christmas food and cookies, I plan on getting Chinese take-out and fast food at least once. I'll probably gain back everything I lost.
Sometimes I let LO watch tv for a few minutes as a last resort if I can't calm/soothe/get her to sleep if she's having a major meltdown.
When we drive for longer than 30 minutes dd has a tendency to turn into a demon possessed baby. A couple days ago as a last resort I turned Baby Einstein on my cell phone. Immediate calm.
We sleep trained LO.. He sleeps 7-7 now.. Judge all you want but we are all sleeping AMAZING now! He's also way happier during the day because he's actually getting sleep!

We started sleep training between weeks 2 and 3. According to one of the women on TB (not on our BMB, but elsewhere) I'm a terrible mother who lets my child go hungry and locks them in their room all night.
I park in one (of 4) of the handicapped spots at DC when dropping off/picking up the kids. Foot is still broken (check up on the 30th), but doctor didn't give me a tag for the car and he said to limit how much I carry the kids. I exaggerate the limp when people see me get in and out of the car to avoid their side eyes.
@sharmon1317 I've been considering sleep training, but I'm feeling all kinds of anxiousness.
The first night I ate ice cream outside his door and cried. He didn't know how to put himself to sleep at all. Once he figured it out he did great. It wasn't healthy for him to be sleeping so little and I had the backing of my pedi.
Are you breast feeding or formula? I had to stop nursing him to sleep and it made a 100 % difference.
I need to hear things like this! We're going to start sleep training when DD hits the 6 month mark and I'm nervous as hell.
I'm nursing, but I don't nurse to sleep. However, if she doesn't have her pacifier she will cry. Giving her pacifier 10 times a night before falling asleep is difficult. Plus her naps stink. If she wakes up for some random reason at night and doesn't have her pacifier she starts crying.
I think she'd be a much happier baby if she slept more. I'm pretty sure she isn't getting the recommended amount.

How long did he cry the first night?!
2 hours! it still makes my heart hurt thinking about it.. Second night was 10 mins!
I'm sure that 2 hours was excruciating. But 10 minutes the second night is awesome! I'm hoping for some quick results too but we'll see. I seem to have a very strong-willed little girl on my hands.
Honestly, I think it's easier to sleep train around 6 months than a year or later, when they're capable of standing up in their crib and stuff. I wouldn't necessarily do it to eliminate all night feedings at 6 months but definitely for getting them to go to sleep on their own and stuff.
I let DS CIO for the first time the other night and he only cried for about 10-15 minutes.
Confession, i didn't feel all that bad and now that he will put himself to sleep with or without a paci to add. I don't feel bad at all its better for the both of us!
I started giving DD a 2-3oz seeing of a fruit or veggie mix at her fussiest; which is right before bath time. She's a champ at eating the baby food I made her. Plus I make her take at nap when DS takes a nap. I get 2-2.5 hours at nap time to myself. Plus both kids go to bed at 9pm and sleep until 930-10am. I get more alone/free time to myself after they go to bed for an hour/hour and a half. If this is selfish, I don't want to be right.
I don't know what day it is, nor do I care. When my mom offered to watch the mildly sniffly DD1 yesterday instead of me taking them both out with me, I half-assedly protested then accepted so I could go out with just one kid because it's easier.
I nurse DD back to sleep constantly. She only really wakes once or twice a night, but if she wakes up I just get up, nurse her back to sleep and go right back to bed. I know I shouldn't but that's what I do. She's just about 6 months, thinking of sleep training, scared to death to try.

Agreed!
I have not seen Frozen but I love Tangled!
11.2011 - DS1
02.2013 - loss at 6 wks
06.2014 - DS2
10.2015 - loss at 12 wks
03.2017 - DD
I guess we are all terrible mothers.

Edit because it didn't post the whole response the first time
Trained DS at eight weeks and he also did really well
It feels SO GOOD to be able to have a bedtime routine that ended in kisses and laying down instead of an hour of rocking and sneaky crib depositing.
It was much easier on me with the second kid.

I drank a Venti Starbucks latte this morning and then nursed DD about 20 mins later. I am doomed.
